STOP YOUR SEARCH - THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! (Do a search in Instagram for #Greece6Pack to see all of our adventures in Santorini - it will add depth to what I'm describing below). I stayed here with five of my friends for 4 days and here are the things that we all agreed why this is the PLACE TO BE! They are: 1. The HOST: Nikos and Wife are needless to say, the shit that gets the shit done! Doesn't matter what you need, who you need, where you need, it will get done ASAP. Not 24 hours ASAP, but like in 5 Minutes ASAP!!! Extremely responsive people that LOVES WHAT THEY DO! And it resonates in every email, text, phone call or conversation you have with them! These people are passionate about what they do. Hosting and being Hospitably by default is their Nature, it's part of their DNA and it's in their CORE BEING! This isn't just something that "they do", this is essentially who they are. They were extremely hospitable. They booked our Rental Car directly - which in a town like this, you need someone to know a rental car company as these guys could be difficult to deal with. Extremely knowledgeable of all the spots to hit. Booked every single Dinner we had and every single Excursion we decided to take on the island. Who does that as an Air BnB Host? Apparently this guy does, so take advantage! And seriously stop looking and book your place here now! 2. WINDMILL! The place is called Windmill Villa's for a reason! Beside the adorable windmills - the place was well maintained, brand new, and EXTREMELY SPACIOUS beyond what the pictures say. There were 6 of us and we were all comfortable in the place. They provided really good wifi - strong on all 3 floors. They also had a GRILL on the property! Which is something you need to take advantage of!!! Greece is WELL KNOWN for having the best MEATS! Drive down to the local market and grab some awesome Steaks, Pork and Chicken! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! To check out other activities or things I discovered while in Santorini, check out the full (EMAIL HIDDEN) (search Santorini). 3. Lovely Cleaning Lady EVERYDAY - EVERYDAY - and I'm going to say that again! EVERYDAY a Cleaning Lady comes in to professionally clean the house! She even makes you heart shaped Pigeons with your towels so its lovely and fresh as you come in after a full day of adventure. 4. Breakfast Everyday Experience Santorini like a Champ with their daily Greek Home Made style breakfast served to you right in front of your private Pool overlooking the Sea while enjoying a sip of your freshly squeezed Orange Juice or Fresh Milk provided by host. I miss the chocolate Croissants, the cheese, the breads, the fresh Greek Homemade Yogurt, and all of the other amazing food they provide. Hands down this is the...

I'd highly recommend the windmill villas. We hired a car (recommended as the villa is nicely located in a quiet spot) so it was very easy to get around. We loved being away from the tourist spots but the location is still very good for getting around. Excellent if you value a quiet private space to relax. It had everything we could have asked for and exceeded our expectations! We loved the private pool to cool off from the sun. The maid service and breakfast was excellent and made for a very relaxing stay. Nikos was the perfect host, providing brilliant recommendations for things to do and great places to eat. It's probably possible to find cheaper places in Santorini but this was worth every penny!

We were 4 girls-26 y/o from NYC and had an amazing time. Pictures are exactly as they are displayed. Nikos and his wife gave us lots of advice about the island and places to eat. Windmill was clean and adorable with A/C and spotty wifi. Breakfast was prepared each morning and was great. Recommend waking up one morning to see the sunrise from the pool. Definitely rent ATVs or a car because cabs are few and far between and there is not public transportation nearby. All in all quiet nice place to relax.

We had a great time staying at the Blue Windmill. Whilst 2 weeks may have been a bit too long for a stay, clearly the house was special and provided a perfect home for a very relaxing vacation. Lovely breakfast was served every morning which we only had to complement with items we bought at the supermarket for variety. The host was very friendly and helpful. We clearly recommend this place. One plea: Please take care of the mother cat and her thee kittens which visit friendly tenants frequently :-)

Simply FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! :) The description of the property is pretty accurate. The overall maintenance of the property is excellent; and the views are gorgeous. The pool is really awesome and pretty large!!! The villa is located quite conveniently close to both Oia and Fira (not too far from Pori Beach). The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful! Nikos was very helpful with his suggestions/recommendations and his response time on mails was impressive! They sent 2 cars to pick the 4 of us from the airport as we had informed them that we had a lot of luggage. In the absence on Nikos at the villa during our stay, his Mom did a great job of hosting and helping with things! The cleaning lady did a very good job too! Having a vehicle to move around is a necessity on the island (and more so at this location) as there really is no convenient public transport and cabs end up becoming quite expensive! We hired a small 4x4 (Suzuki Jimny) for EUR 45 per day; and it sufficed for our day trips around the island. Nikos recommended massages at the villa by Santorini Massage - they were DIVINE to say the least! He also recommended some boat rides; of which we took the sunset cruise on the Amoudi Voyager for EUR 95 per head and it was amazing fun and perfect to watch the Santorini sunset at sea! The one place for improvement is the breakfast spread which while fresh and good tasting could have more variety (it was limited to a fresh juice, some fresh cut fruits, fresh breads, eggs and Greek yogurt) - super nice on its own, but a bit boring after the 2nd day. So, all in all a super worthwhile experience!

We stayed in the Anemomyloi Windmill Villa in Santorini and it was perfect. We arrived late in the afternoon and after meeting us at the ferry terminal the owner Nikos cooked us a beautiful dinner and arranged car hire for us. It was the cutest villa I have ever stayed in and looks exactly like the pictures. Nikos was also fantastic in his recommendations on bars, restaurants, beaches etc. on the island. Overall a great place to stay and I would love to come back here again!
