The space
*** NOTE: With the holidays around the corner, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate check-out on Christmas or New Year's Day. Thank you for your understanding ***
Proudly part of the Kind Cabineer Collection, this three-bedroom mountain escape blends clean Scandinavian-inspired design with the warmth and coziness of a classic Big Bear cabin. Surrounded by trees and mountain scenery on a quiet street, it feels peaceful and tucked away while still keeping skiing, the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, markets, restaurants, hiking, the lake, and The Village all within easy reach.
Spend the day skiing, biking, hiking, or exploring town, then come back to dinner on the deck, a fire beneath the stars, and your own quiet corner of Moonridge.
The Space
The upper level is bright, open, and filled with natural light, with the living room, dining area, and kitchen flowing together into one comfortable space.
Slide open the doors and step onto the wraparound balcony, perfect for morning coffee among the trees, grilling dinner after a day on the mountain, or simply taking in the fresh mountain air.
Downstairs, a second deck and outdoor sitting area gives everyone a little more room to spread out and enjoy the setting.
Outdoor Living
One of the highlights of the cabin is the large private patio surrounded by trees.
As the sun goes down, get the fire pit going, pull up a chair, and settle in beneath the mountain sky.
The backyard is open to nature rather than fenced, with a seasonal stream running behind the property that adds even more to the peaceful hillside setting.
Morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or a quiet night around the fire — this is the kind of outdoor space that makes you want to stay awhile.
Three Bedrooms + Two Baths
The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
Upstairs, you’ll find a private bedroom with a queen-size bed and a separate full bathroom.
Downstairs are two additional bedrooms — one with a king-size bed and another with two twin beds — connected by a convenient Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
The layout works especially well for families, couples traveling together, or a small group of close friends who want their own space while still enjoying the cabin together.
Kitchen + Dining
The kitchen is fully stocked for an easy mountain stay, whether you’re making a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or settling in for dinner at the cabin.
You’ll find stainless steel cookware, a full-size refrigerator, stove, coffee, creamer, organic teas, and the essentials you need to cook and enjoy the space.
The open-concept layout keeps everyone connected while cooking, eating, or relaxing after a day outside.
Movie Nights + Fast Wi-Fi
When it’s time to wind down, settle into the living room for a movie on the 50-inch Smart TV.
The cabin also features fast Wi-Fi, perfect for streaming, staying connected, or getting a little work done between adventures.
Driving Electric?
We’ve got you covered.
A dedicated EV charger is located right at the driveway, making overnight charging easy during your stay.
In the Heart of Moonridge
Location is one of the best parts of this cabin.
You’re just 2 minutes from the slopes, minutes from the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, and less than 5 minutes from Stater Bros., Vons, and Big Bear’s main markets.
Big Bear Lake, hiking and biking trails, local restaurants, coffee shops, and The Village are also just a short drive away.
You get the convenience of being close to everything without giving up the feeling of being surrounded by the mountains.
Dog Friendly
We’re happy to welcome one small dog, up to 20 lbs., with prior approval.
If you would like to bring more than one dog or a dog over 30 lbs., please contact us before booking so we can review the request. Approval is at our discretion and may depend on the dog’s size, breed, property-specific restrictions, owner requirements, and safety considerations. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate every request.
The backyard is not fully enclosed, so please keep an eye out for other wildlife if letting your pet roam.
A Stay That Gives Back
Every stay also helps care for the destination you’ve come to enjoy.
A $2 community impact fee per reservation is donated to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, a wildlife rehabilitation facility and sanctuary caring for indigenous animals that have been injured, orphaned, or permanently impacted and are unable to return to the wild.
We encourage you to visit during your stay, meet some of the incredible animals in their care, and learn more about protecting the wildlife that makes Big Bear so special.
Come for Moonridge and the slopes. Stay for the trees, hillside views, fireside nights, and your own peaceful Scandinavian-inspired mountain escape.
Other things to note
In order to keep the kitchen sanitary and free of contamination, we do not provide any open container liquids (honey, cooking oil, and other items like this) after Covid. We do provide your basic dry spices and sometimes a few extras for your use in the kitchen. Sorry for any inconvenience this could cause.

FEE BREAKDOWN:
We pay our cleaning team a fair wage for their dedicated thoughtfulness and care for the cabin on every cleaning. No matter if it one night or 5 nights the cleaning is the same price of $145
Then added in to the cleaning price line item is the Check-in Service required by law in Big Bear it is $20 per reservation/stay
Total of $165 pre reservation stay
Community Impact: We have a $2 per reservation community fee added in the checkout. 100% of funds are donated to Big Bear Alpine Zoo, a rehabilitation facility and a sanctuary for indigenous wild animals that have been permanently impacted by human behavior and are unable to return to the wild. We also encourage you to visit their new location, meet some amazing animals that are unable to return to the wild for various reasons and learn how you can help support animals in the wild and in their care.
We encourage you to visit and explore the sanctuary (not more than 3 minutes away from the cabin) and connect with the animals. It’s a special experience.
Pet Policy- While we are pet-friendly, if there will be more than one dog, we kindly ask you to notify us before booking, as we will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
Please note there is a $50 pet cleaning fee (including service animals/ESA animals). If you are bringing a pet, you are required to check the “pet fee” upon reservation. Airbnb's policy for service animals allows up to ONE service animal per stay; if additional pets join, there will be additional fees. This includes all types of dogs, due to pet dander and non-shedding dogs.
Our cleaning team charges us this fee due to the extra cleaning that is required with pets. Due to our allergy-sensitive guests, it's mandatory that the highest levels of cleaning procedures take place to maintain optimal health standards.
We kindly ask if you bring any animals, PLEASE keep them off of the sofa, blankets, and bedding.
Hot water is a tank system; it does not have a large capacity and will only allow consistent hot water for a short period of time before needing to reheat a new bath use sparingly. Thank you.
Thank you.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
