The Space

This a clean, well presented 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse in the heart of trendy Neutral Bay. The home boasts a lovely balcony that opens up to the main sitting room. The room available is the Master bedroom, with large wardrobe, Flatscreen TV, DVD player, skylight and ensuite.

We are within walking distance to popular shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and major train and bus routes that surround the area. Neutral Bay is five minutes from North Sydney and ten minutes from the Sydney CBD, which makes it perfect for traveling professionals as well as tourists. We are ten minutes from Balmoral Beach which has gentler and calmer water and twenty minutes from Bondi or Manly Beach which both have bigger waves and are good for surfing. You can also walk to the waters edge around Long Bay from the apartment and see the area around Middle Harbour. The area has many parks, golf courses and quiet tree lined streets.

There is only one other person (female) staying in the unit, who is a business executive for a major consulting firm. She is laid back, travels often, though enjoys a good chat when in town.

  • Dawn was delightful! She was so considerate and thoughtful, leaving the key out for us to access at whatever time we arrived, to having tea and coffee and biscuits set up for us.
She let us have the run of her apartment, and made herself scarce while we were there...but was happy to spend time with us too when we showed interest in chatting with her.
She helped us with our cases down the stairs, and chatted happily with our 2 yo boy. The bed was super comfy, and we had all the luxuries you could need.
Was in a great location with great coffee and restaurants just around the corner.
Dawn went above and beyond to make our lives easy while we were in sydney.
So really appreciated everything from her. Thanks Dawn!

  • I stayed with Dawn when I was working in North Sydney one week. I was keen to get away from the usual hotel experience and was really pleased I did. The house, room and bathroom was clean and had everything one could need, the area was amazing with loads of fantastic restaurants near by and Dawn was such a nice host who really made you feel at home. I'd happily stay here again!

About
Hi, I am a HR and Learning Consultant with Accenture for the past 11 years. I have a background in elementray education. I moved to Sydney, Australia in 2006. I love the multi-cultural aspect of Sydney, the beaches and the laid back atmosphere. In my free time I enjoy cooking, wine tasting, diving, cycling, traveling, camping and photography. I've made Australia my home now and plan to get my citizenship in the coming months. People describe me as kind, reliable, and outgoing with smart sense of humor. I enjoy travelling and have done so all over the US, UK, Europe, Phillipines, India, and Australia. Next on my list is Italy, Thailand, New Zealand, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, and China. My favorite movies are mysteries, smart romance, comedies, and any type of gangster movie. I love old classic movies in black and white. I'll watch anything by Hitchcock, though do not like today's scary movies; the cinematography is far too good and far too scary. My top five are Cool Hand Luke, Good Fellas, Steele Magnolias, Something's Gotta Give and To Kill a Mockingbird. I like anything by Aaron Sorkin; I miss The West Wing. My favorite food is Indian, Italian and Thai. I became a pescetarian after living with a vegan for 2 years. I couldn't give up salmon and cheese, so veganism was a bit too extreme for me. I don't miss being a meat eater, and feel much healthier. However, I do occasionally cheat with a filet mignon, or a rack of ribs. I'm into all different types of music, and will not hesitate to listen (email hidden) band playing anything. I enjoy live theatre and comedy shows. My favorite comedians are John Stewart, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Dawn French, Steve Carrell and Will Ferrell. I love a good laugh. I don't have a favorite author, though trust the best seller lists for good recommendations. I've read a few by Daphne du Maurier recently, and have fallen in love with anything Dawn French or Maya Angelou has written. I don't really have a motto but like to follow the ole' cliche' which is to treat people the way I want to be treated. I try to connect with people who naturally give off an air of strong character and intergrity. I like meeting people who have a good story to tell, and have a good positive energy.
