Richmond is a great place with a range of restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all pockets. It has two well respected theatres, three cinemas, is close to Kew Gardens and a number of National Trust properties. From Richmond Hill you can see the famous view of the bend in the Thames much painted by Turner, and walk along the Thames path. Richmond Park with its deer, and fine views of the city makes Richmond one of the greenest London Boroughs. It has fantastic transport links too, close to Heathrow and on both the tube and overland rail lines.
This apartment is located in a great area, Richmond, which is full of gorgeous shops, cafes and restaurants. We arrived much later than planned on Friday evening and Nicky was so welcoming to us, and had left us some chocolates, fruit and coffees. The apartment itself is very stylish and modern, pristine and is a lovely space to relax in. If you don't want to venture outside, you can relax there, there's a tv, lots of books and a comfy sofa. The apartment was really warm, there was lots of hot water and is furnished with really nice bed linen and towels. Everything in the apartment is really top quality and modern. I would definitely recommend a staying here, its a beautiful space to stay in and is so convenient for the train station if you're travelling into London. Great experience!
Home away from a home. As a first time user. Nicky was a great ambassador for airbnb. This apartment was true to her description. Spend Valentine weekend with my partner - we didn't want to leave. Nicky was away but communication was great - her family were very helpful. The attention to detail was amazing from the chocolate on the bed to notes with directions around Richmond complimented our experience. Highly recommended. See you soon Nicky.
Nicky was a great hostess - I "checked in" late and she had everything ready including a glass of wine and chocolate. Everything worked great -including the gas fireplace and was very clean.
The flat is in a perfect spot in Richmond - right across the street from the Richmond Inn - yet the flat is bigger than the typical room (I've stayed at the Inn 2x), Walking distance from the Richmond tube/overground stop as well as many fine restaurants and Richmond Park & Kew Gardens
For breakfast - I would recommend The Alberts, which makes a wonderful scrambled eggs& bacon .
The flat was great! Super close to town therefore very convenient. Good size for two people. Nicky was so great, even giving us a ride when it was raining one morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Richmond!
I had a really good stay with Nicky. Paul and NIcky were welcoming both before and after, Paul did the welcoming honours on the day.
I really enjoyed having my own private well appointed space, ideal home pad from home. Books, small fridge, Nespresso, etc good for home comforts...
The location is central, well connected for station, food: good gastro pub and Richmond Park walking. Happy.
Nicky's basement flat is a great place to stay and in a great location. I highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Richmond, who anyone coming to London for a few days. Richmond is a great town to base yourself from.
