Hi and thanks for checking out my listing. I'm a very friendly and hospitable person and you will feel very welcome in my home. I came from a large family and had four kids (all out of the house). I love meeting people from different parts of the country and world.
I live in a 110 year old farmhouse on 2 acres in Southeast Boulder. I have two Golden Retrievers who are friendly and loving. There's a downstairs bedroom with a bathroom. The bed is a large full bed and there is a twin mattress underneath that can be rolled out for a third person/child. There's a hot tub out in the field to relax in and star gaze at night. In warmer months, there's a huge treehouse with sky chairs to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine or read a book. There's a zipline from the treehouse to my guest house (this is also available to stay in if you want something larger and with more privacy). You're welcome to use the kitchen, dining room, family room and living room during reasonable hours and there's a washer/dryer available.
The location is so great because it's only 10 minutes by car to downtown Pearl Street and 25 minutes to downtown Denver. There's a hiking/biking trail right across the street. You can ride this path downtown and many other areas in Boulder as well. There's also an RTD bus stop right across the street.
2 acres in Boulder is hard to find. There's a wonderful spacious feeling to the property. I've lived in Boulder for almost thirty years and am a great resource for restaurants, hikes, entertainment, etc. I also know the Denver area fairly well and can help you out with that too.
Great views of the Flatirons from my property. Overall, an ideal place to stay while you're exploring the city of Boulder or working here temporarily. Looking forward to meeting you!
Since I'm brand new to Airbnb, here is a eecommendation from a guest who stayed for over a year in my guest cottage:
"Mary's property is one a kind! Whether you like swinging on a sky chair in the treehouse or watching the sun set in the flatirons from the hot tub, you will not be disappointed here! Mary is an incredibly gracious host. She will make you feel at home and make you laugh all at the same time! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the Boulder area and will be happy to help you navigate the options for dining, shopping, and exploring open space. She is also a great cook, and you will love her open concept kitchen which is warm and cozy. I highly recommend spending some time at this serene and peaceful farmhouse property."

If you are looking for a fun, affordable, casual place to stay, this is your place. Mary is a fun, warm host and we had a great time. Our 3.5 yr old loved the yard, treehouse, and trampoline to play on. She has two nice golden retrievers.
You should probably visit Boulder just to stay at Mary's house. Mary is a kind, gracious, and generous host, not to mention an all-around awesome person, who can tell you tons about the local area. Her house and property are absolutely beautiful and the room I stayed in was bright and cozy and had an extremely comfortable bed. Despite being a room in a shared house, it was very private, and Mary went out of her way to ensure that things were as comfortable as possible. The location is great - within walking distance to the South Boulder Creek trail, and very close to all else Boulder has to offer. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone to stay with Mary if they happen to be in Boulder.
Lovely home. My private quarters were very comfortable and cozy warm while it was cold outside. Mary is very friendly and welcoming. The accommodations are just as they look in the pictures.
I had a good stay with Mary and would highly recommend both her Airbnb Boulder listings. The house is a 10-15 minute drive from anywhere in Boulder, there are plenty of trails and a park within walking distance. The property itself is fun to explore, with an abandoned silo, treehouse and hot tub. Mary was always available and helpful and was kind enough to upgrade my room for two nights. All in all great experience.
Pick this one!!! Mary is a kind and thoughtful hostess who clearly enjoys having visitors in her home. Her urban farmhouse offers all the conveniences of Baseline Road (easy access from airport and busses, close to restaurants and shopping) and the charm of country living (ah, the hot tub in the moonlight .. Divine!!). My room was sweet, the bed and linens comfy and inviting, the bathroom was clean and private. I was on a course, and Mary was very accommodating about my early mornings, including a 4:10am departure!! Her dogs are a delight and reflect the very generous spirit of Mary and her home. You can't go wrong, spending your Boulder time at 726 Cherryvale Road. Thank- you, Mary, for such an exceptional first AirBnB experience:)
Our stay at Mary's was really great. She's very friendly and hospitable. You will automatically feel like your hanging out at home. The environment is very relaxed and comfortable. This has been one of the best traveling experiences we've had. She has a super cool space that has a lot to offer. There's tree swings, jacuzzi under the stars, tree house, hammock, private stone garden with fire pit, trampoline all located on a rare gorgeous boulder property. You are so conveniently located it's amazing. The road she lives at the corner of Baseline Rd. which takes you up the Boulder Mountain to Chautaugua State park or to down town Boulder and Pearl St. both are only about 5-7minutes away, yet very private with lots of space to just breathe and Be!
Beautiful room, very comfortable! Mary is kind and generous and friendly, and everything I needed was there. She is a great source for any info you'd like about the area, too. Everything is convenient. The yard is beautiful, as well as the surrounding area. I had a great time!
What a wonderful experience. Mary provided us with an affordable and pleasant stay. We stayed in her guest house, which was clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring. We highly recommend staying with Mary!
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Mary's beautiful house in Boulder. Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and spotlessly clean and Mary was great - fun and easygoing. I LOVE the treehouse where I relaxed in a hanging chair reading for several hours under a canopy of leaves so thick that the light rain never reached me. Max and Molly the dogs are friendly and greeted us every time we came home (bonus - they'll come relax in your room if you leave the door opened). The location is fantastic - just minutes off the highway from Denver and a straight 10 minute shot down the road from University of Colorado. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I will definitely try to stay here the next time I am visiting my kids in Boulder/Denver.
I highly recommend staying with Mary. This is a unique property, that exudes a peaceful, and happy vibe. Mary's home is beautifully decorated and spotless. She is a most wonderful hostess who makes you feel welcome. The one bedroom set up is comfortable, private and complete with bathrobes!
I toured the guest house and it is divine.
I had a most wonderful experience and will stay here during my next visit to Boulder.
