Its moment to shine arrives in May as the venue for the Cannes Film Festival, entertaining the rich and famous. During the festival, fans can see actors, celebrities, and directors up close and in person on the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals at the end of La Croisette. Although its nightlife, casinos and high end restaurants give Cannes a feel of exclusivity, Cannes does have alternatives to suit all types of budgets. Tourists can check out the beauty and architecture of Le Suquet, with its cobbled streets and breathtaking views, or sit at street side tables and enjoy the favoured hobby of people watching up and down the lovely marina

I thought this room was excellent value for money. Philippe and his wife were very friendly and made me most welcome. He also kindly drove me to and from the bus stop.
The nature of my trip was a 7 day holiday during the film festival which I thoroughly enjoyed. My hosts Philippe & his lovely wife Marie Ann made my stay in Cannes with advise on hand & with the hearty breakfast (of your choice) prepared for me to start the day. (At a 7 euro extra cost) which I thought was extremely good value. The only draw back would be the distance to the croisette but the walk is pleasant. It was a about 20 minutes - downhill to the croisette uphill on the way back. Being a young woman travelling alone I would most definitely recommend this as a place to stay. I felt safe and relaxed. Philippe also to took me to the bus stop at no extra cost which was kind of him to do.
I stayed here during the mipcom 2012. I came with a short notice - just a day before arriving to Cannes.
The apartment was clean and comfortable - located in the heart of a quiet pastoral hillside in Cannes. It's a walk of 25 minutes to the Palais. the return a little longer because the climb up the hill.
Philippe was a perfect host, he suggested some attraction in Cannes and dropped me off at the bus station in the morning.
I would definitely recommend staying here, and I will be back next year!
I stayed here during the Cannes film festival in 2012. Philippe was helpful in picking me up from Hotel de Ville -- the town hall (I caught the inexpensive express bus from Nice airport into Cannes). The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the hosts very kindly provided breakfast for 7 euros a day. It is a 25-minute walk into town, all downhill on the way in -- and of course all uphill on the way back! A taxi from town costs around 18 euro but they are not always available. If you are on a budget, I would definitely recommend staying here. Philippe and his family are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive.
My stay in Cannes to attend the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2011 was made all the more unique and enjoyable thanks to Phillippe and his wife's hospitality in their home. They were personable, charming hosts who went beyond the call of duty by offering lifts when I needed them.
Philippe is great! He picked me up and dropped me off at the train station.
The room is very clean and comfortable -- beautiful location twenty minute
walk to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. It's all very homey and
nice. The walk back is steep near the very end but I enjoyed it because it's
also safe, serene, great views of Cannes and the sea, and the air smells
amazing -- plus you get a good work out after eating all those steak frites.
My friends who stayed in the center of Cannes complained about noise and
their rooms were cramped. But here there's a nice private outdoor sitting
area and there's plenty of room in the studio, bathroom and closets. I will
definitely be staying here
