The space

This apartment is totally independent and not shared with anyone.

We are located 15 minutes direct by bus to Manhattan/Times Square.

If you were to stay in the Bronx it would take you 40 min to get to Times Square. If you were to Stay in Brooklyn it would take you the same amount of time as subways in Brooklyn are not direct. If you were to stay in Manhattan you would not find a place as big as this one for this price.

There are many buses going direct to the City in the heart of Times Square. 24/hrs bus services to the City. The bus stop is just around the corner from the house.

Transportation is probably underrated. There are about 3 -4 major bus routes which go along the cliff coming into port authority in about 20 min. There is a free bus to a ferry at the bottom of the cliff which comes round every 10 min. There are also the little jitney buses which come around every few minutes get you into town. So across the official NJ Transit, the little jitney buses and the ferry you can get into town at any time within about 20 min. Oh yes there is another bus into hoboken from boulevard east (road on the cliff) as well.

The apartment is an independant 2 bedroom located on the 3rd floor of a Familly house.
It is equiped with bed linens, towel and private bath.

THERE IS NO KITCHEN to cook but there is a little area with Microwave, Coffee machine, and a frigde.

There are many little restaurant near the house.

The house is located a block away from Avenue East when you will see breathtaking views of the City. Best panoramic view if you ask me.

The neighborhood

The town was populated mainly with Italian Americans and German Americans. The 1960s saw an influx of Cuban émigrés to the area, once called Havana on the Hudson; it has since has become one of the United States cities with a majority Hispanic population. Simultaneously, high-rise apartments, some of the tallest buildings in North Hudson, were built along Boulevard East,[25][26] adding to the population of the town, giving it one of highest population densities in the country. Since the 1980s the Hudson waterfront, which had been part of the Weehawken Terminal has been redeveloped from industrial to residential and recreational uses, including the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.
It's an excellent running / jogging track with great view of New York Skyline and Hudson River. There are parks along side and benches where you can rest and enjoy the view.

We offer accommodations/an apartment (a clean place to sleep) that is it! We work very hard to please everyone. Please remember:

- We are not a hotel and therefore do not provide soap and shampoos, you are staying in an apartment with problems that one can encounter in a house like things breaking down unexpectedly. We do not offer the service perfection of an hotel. Do not expect perfection. some people may not like the sheets, some people may not like the beds, some people may not like the decor, some people may think the air conditioning may be too loud etc...We cannot please everyone (unfortunately) this is alternative rental to an hotel and it is not perfect and this is why prices are discounted. If you are looking for hotel like accommodations these services are not for you.

- We are not a bed and breakfast: No food will be provided, sometimes past guest do leave non-perishable goods, you are welcome to use it.

- We are not a Chambre d'hotes: you will most likely not meet me, your host will welcome you to give you the keys and will be happy to help out in case you need anything but do not expect them to be at your service 24/7.

- We are not a concierge service: We do give out as much information as we can on transportation and places to visit, but we will not do outside research on entertainment tickets, or tourism planning, car rentals, etc…
You are responsible for the planning of your trip. If bus schedule change expectantly, we have no control over that and Port Authority has an information booth that is available for any help you need.

Well, first. Since the first day arriving, people downstairs bother as, asking and asking questions, I fill all the info in the website. The place wasn't really clean, the lady downstairs it's unrespectful. I don't thing is good for a new guesses stay there. I have bad experience in Miyoko's place. I hope they can fix the problem for future guesses. Thanks.

Response from Miyoko:
I would absolutely not recommend Edgar as a guest. Reservation rules are that we charge an extra fee for extra guests after the 4th guests. Edgar made his reservation for 4 people. It appeared that 2 more guests stayed in the apartment. When we kindly asked Edgar about the number of guests staying in the apartment he got very defensive and threaten to leave a bad review if we kept on bothering him. As host we deserve the right to know how many people we kindly welcome in our home. First for security reasons, second because the place can only accommodate 5 people and third because of the extra guest fee agreement.

Everything is as described. Place is really quiet with that great view of the NY skyline. It's my second time here so that should be an indication of how I really know Miyoko's space!

The apt was exactly what we expected from the pictures and description. We had total privacy, felt very safe and loved the feel of being in a home at night. Andres met us and explained the welcome book to us and was very helpful as we checked in. Plenty of room for 4-6 people. Highly recommend.

The appartment is great. Two bedrooms and a very nice shower - all we needed. Very quiet neighbourhood, very safe. Close to the busstop and just a 15 min drive to Times Square. It was really clean and the beds were nice. We would certainly recommend it!
