This apartment is totally independent and not shared with anyone.
We are located 15 minutes direct by bus to Manhattan/Times Square.
If you were to stay in the Bronx it would take you 40 min to get to Times Square. If you were to Stay in Brooklyn it would take you the same amount of time as subways in Brooklyn are not direct. If you were to stay in Manhattan you would not find a place as big as this one for this price.
There are many buses going direct to the City in the heart of Times Square. 24/hrs bus services to the City. The bus stop is just around the corner from the house.
Transportation is probably underrated. There are about 3 -4 major bus routes which go along the cliff coming into port authority in about 20 min. There is a free bus to a ferry at the bottom of the cliff which comes round every 10 min. There are also the little jitney buses which come around every few minutes get you into town. So across the official NJ Transit, the little jitney buses and the ferry you can get into town at any time within about 20 min. Oh yes there is another bus into hoboken from boulevard east (road on the cliff) as well.
The apartment is an independant 2 bedroom located on the 3rd floor of a Familly house.
It is equiped with bed linens, towel and private bath.
THERE IS NO KITCHEN to cook but there is a little area with Microwave, Coffee machine, and a frigde.
There are many little restaurant near the house.
The house is located a block away from Avenue East when you will see breathtaking views of the City. Best panoramic view if you ask me.
Street parking with permit (provided by host)
Other Things to Note
Check in time is anytime after 4 PM. Previous guests have up to 12 PM to check out then we need time to clean. You are welcome to drop off your luggage after 12 PM and come back once the apartment is ready.
No heavy partying. be respectful of the neighbors.
Appartement clean, agréable et climatisé. Quartier tranquille, à 15 min de TimesSquare. La vue sur Manhattan est superbe mais seulement au bout de la rue. Place de parking devant la maison, arrangeants pour 3doll par jour.
Lovel host. Friendly and interested to make our life easier. Good connection to new york via bus. Nice skyline view few metres away from the appartment. It was clean and quiet. Thanks for everything
We stayed for 5 nights and it was great. The view from 100ft down the street of NYC is amazing. Every morning our host was kind enough to bring us the pass that we needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed in the NJ house from 9 to 15 of June, 2015. Four people, two adults plus a 15yr old daughter and a 11yr old son. The apartment is comfortable, we had absolutely no problem with anything; the transport to NY is thru NJ Transit, and it takes 15 minutes to reach the Bus Terminal, near the 42nd - consider that in weekends there are less rides, but we waited no more than 10 minutes in the worst case.
The cost of the "ten trip discount" is 27$, but if you travel with children, consider that from 7pm on friday until sunday evening the NJ transit service is free under 11 year old.
The neighborood is ok; at the end of the street you will find a (very useful) seven eleven. We had often breakfast at "MAD", down the Boulevard East, a nice place to eat in.
The view of Manhattan from Boulevard E is amazing, both in daylight and in the night.
The description was very accurate and if I am planning on staying in New York again I hope to be able to take advantage of this listing. It was in a great area, close to a bus stop and a fantastic view of the skyline.
The host showed us to our rooms and gave us all the information we needed for travelling. The rooms were cozy and even better than we had expected. We loved how the basic necessities, such as the fridge, microwave and towels were provided too. Overall, it was an 8.5/10 rating. We would have given a 10/10 if bowls and utensils were provided.
No privacy with open view into the apartment and cameras all over. When I arrived back at the apartment they watched me out of their window, I don't know if you asked me that's pretty nosey. The stairs are pretty dangerous. On the good side there's AC and the apartment was clean. Equipped with lots of clean towels .
