After a slight miscommunication on the address we met up with one of Juan Ramon's team and were really pleased with Araba Attic. It is quiet, bright, clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable and the flat was perfectly located for us. A short walk to the old quarter and beach and very close to the train station. We never figured out the stereo and would suggest some written instructions for the many "clickers" as well as a map with recommended markets would be a welcomed touch. The shower is really superb, and the kitchen is nicely appointed, however when we got there there were no basics provided ie no dish soap, and given our booking was 8 days It would have been nice to also have a couple more rolls of tp provided so we didn't need to purchase a full package.
We had a great stay at Juan Ramon's place. Everything was very clean and modern and it was a short walk into the old town. Check in and out were both very easy and we were met by a lovely guy who gave us a number of tips on where to eat and things to do. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
Overall experience was good
Location was good
Comfortable bed and couch
AC worked well
Nice window shades allowed us to sleep late
Building elevator worked well
Few small quirks- wifi didnt work with laptops, mobile devices only for some reason, no clothes dryer, no paper towels.
Very nice and comfortable place. Juan Ramon was very accommodating - I never got to meet him, but when he learned there could potentially be a problem with the elevator at the flat he emailed me right away to alert me. (this never ended up being a problem for us)
The colleague he put me in contact with was very nice as well, however there was some miscommunication regarding the parking, which lead to us driving around for a good half hour. The parking lot was not all that close to the building in the first place and I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are driving.
Despite that, the flat itself was fairly close to everything you could want. It is as nice as it looks in the photos and even smells new. Being this new created some small problems for us - the hot water tank wasn't on, and there was no hand soap and laundry soap. I'm sure if we would have called and asked about any of these someone would have come and sorted it out, but we were dying for a shower so we figured it out ourselves. (there is a store nearby)
Overall a good experience, I would stay here again.
