This is a lovely place to stay . It's small but big enough for 2 people. If I will go Lorne again, I will still live in this place .
This is exactly as described an Awesome studio! We loved it and our time in Lorne. The perfect cosy base to explore the great ocean road. The accommodation has most of what you need although is missing a few basics like iron and ironing board, comfy bed, oven, oil etc. The studio is handy to town Polwarth hill a heart starter but one we enjoyed every day with a koala reward at the top. Will definitely be back, we fell in love with Lorne.
Nice place. Modern and clean. Centrally positioned and everything you need for a couple of days away. On the downside, the bed in the second bedroom is quite uncomfortable and if the neighbors are on their balcony you can hear everything.
We recommend this listing. Great, quiet location with fantastic views. Excellent information on how to access the property and what to bring. A good experience for Airbnb novices.
The listing was accurate, lovely big windows to enjoy a view of the water and surrounding trees. The location was great with the beach and main strip in walking distance and a number of bush walks to water falls 5-10 mins away by car.
Lorraine was professional, keen to help and responded promptly to all queries in the lead up to our stay. She also provided clear instructions for everything at the property.
We would stay here again.
Thanks you Jemma for your kind words, its our ultimate aim that holidays should be restful, easy and straightforward. Then all there is to do is to relax, unwind and take in nature, with everything at your fingertips. We pride ourselves on ensuring that you get in and start your R & R with access to a clean environment and outstanding views. It would be a pleasure indeed to host you and your group again.
This is more like a small apartment than a studio. There are two large double bedrooms and a separate living/lounge area to the kitchen, both with lovely views of the ocean. The apartment was clean, modern, light and close to the main street (5 mins walk down and 10 mins walk up a big hill). The kitchen is well equipped but you will have to bring your own cooking basics as there is nothing provided (eg. oil salt etc). I would definitely stay here again, and while it is a little pricey, it seems to be larger than anything else on offer in Lorne and is in a great location. Lorraine was very nice to chat to and very responsive.

About the Host, Lorraine
Having moved into this well-located, hidden gem on Richmond Hill some 15 months ago and after a knock-out stay in Honolulu (airbnb) earlier, I've decided to give hosting a shot.
I am well-travelled with a thirst for people/places/the unknown. Retired from the corporate world within the sales and marketing/advertising arena, I now prefer managing a handful of investment properties, but mostly spend my time between the beach (Lorne, Victoria - properties listed on airbnb) and frequent overseas holidays.
Enjoy the arts, retro furniture/jewellery/couture/architecture. Avid enthusiast of all things vintage. My indulgence is searching interesting haunts, hoping to stumble across the unique/the unusual. When in town, often seen bidding at weekly in-house auctions - not forgetting "street theatre" with Melbourne Real Estate, the auction capital of the world!!
Delight in making people feel comfortable, at home with everything at their fingertips. Love to eat, cook and entertain ......
WOULD'NT BE DEAD FOR QUIDS!
