About This Listing
This is a beautiful, well-lit, safe and silent apartment in the heart of Condesa, the trendiest neighborhood in Mexico City. It's on the second floor of the building, giving a lovely view of the trees on the quiet street it's located on, a couple of blocks from the restaurants and sizzling nightlife of Condesa.
It has three bedrooms. One has 2 twin beds (Which can be joined into one King-sized bed) and a private bathroom, and the other two have full-size beds and share a bathroom. The kitchen is full-featured and the living room and dining room share an ample, cozy space.
If the Condesa is too trendy for you, the more laid-back, artsy Roma is a nice 15-minute walk away. It's well connected, close to the Patriotismo subway station and to the Metrobus. It takes a couple of minutes to walk there and from there it's 15 minutes to downtown, or around 25 to south Mexico City.

Five of us stayed at Paulina's apartment for a Christmas/New Years family gathering. The apartment served as a great base for us to gather, rest, and journey from. The location is close to cafes, restaurants, grocery shopping, and public transportation. Paulina was wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The beds are super comfortable with the softest sheets I think I've ever enjoyed! Laundry machines are upstairs on the roof and come with a rooftop view out to the north. Folks should be aware that the kitchen is small and the apartment building is home to at least one dog. I hope your stay in La Condessa is as enjoyable as ours. You'll find a gluten free bakery and a vegan cafe nearby along with the Green Corner grocery which has familiar organic supplies. The neighborhood architecture varies from very old to very modern, lots of history and beauty to be seen The Tuesday Market is also not to be missed for picking up fruits and veg as well as experiencing some excellent food. There is a Starbucks just around the corner, but it is expensive and the coffee is so much better elsewhere. For morning coffee and French dining a 15 minute walk away is Pandan on Mazatlan on Veracruz at Tampico. For a more formal but welcoming and friendly french inspired restaurant and bakery, try Matisse. Thank you Paulina for being such a wonderful host! We all hope to come back to Mexico City one day as there is so much to enjoy!
After a 5 hour flight from NYC, the first thing you want is to have someone like Paulina greet you at the door. Such a gracious host. She even left us cookies and a baguette! The apartment is light and bright, with spacious bedrooms, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Mexico City. As three young women traveling, we felt safe and welcome. Can't wait to come back.
Paulina made us feel extremely welcome and is so nice, easy going, and knowledgeable. She and her assistant met us at the apartment promptly, explained everything we needed to know about the house and the neighborhood and gave us excellent recommendations. She also has a list of taxis and restaurants. The house is beautiful and very roomy and the neighborhood of Condesa is quaint, quiet, and offers so much to do. There is a great juice bar on her block as well as a taco place, El Farolito, down the street. The two main streets, Alfonso Reyes and Campeche have lots of restaurants, cafes, and a couple of mescal bars. It is easy to get a taxi or an Uber from anywhere in the area. Everyone in the neighborhood is friendly and it is very easy to get around. Couldn't have asked for anything more, it was a great introduction to the city. We will definitely be coming back and will be staying with Paulina again!
Paulina was an amazing host - she thought of every detail for us to have a comfortable stay in her beautiful place. She was quickly available when we had questions and very friendly. She gave us so many great restaurant suggestions in the Condesa area. The space was perfect for us - very spacious, cozy, and bright. We really enjoyed our time and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
La Condesa is an amazing district in Mexico City. The apartment was conveniently located near great restaurants, juice bars, book stores, The Metro, and bars.
The apartment itself was spacious, with ample natural light, three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, reliable Wi-Fi, a kitchen, and large dinning room. You can be assured that all your basic travel needs will be met.
You can also find a washer & dryer on site which is very convenient for those of us who like to pack heavy.
All in all, my family and I liked the apartment and the area. However, we did find it a little frustrating to have to coordinate showers because of low water pressure and insufficient hot water for a group of five.
We also noticed some of our towels were not completely clean and they felt a little stiff. Lastly, the toilet in the room with double beds makes and awful noise after you flush, this also interrupted our showers. It should be looked into, it may cause a more serious problem.
This is a fantastic apartment in the heart of La Condesa. I stayed here for a week with my mother and two children (ages 4 and 6). It was absolutely perfect! So quiet, safe, convenient, with shops and restaurants and even a little playground nearby. Paulina was the perfect host, answering all our questions promptly. Highly recommended!
