Beautiful and cozy apartment in the heart of Palermo Soho.
Located one block away from Santa Fe Avenue and two from Las Heras Avenue, the apartment is a few steps away from a lot of buses and the D line of the subway.
The building is a beautiful 1950s construction, and all the floors are hardwood. The kitchen is integrated to the living room, and all the apartment is filled with sunlight. It also has a beautiful balcony full of plants.
The neighborhood is one of the best in Buenos Aires: you will be only a few blocks away from all the trendy bars and gourmet restaurants, as well as from the hippest clubs, shops and art galleries.
There is a grocery store on the corner that sells great produce, a laundry across the street and three supermarkets in a one block radius.
The apartment is air conditioned, and has a big closet. It has high speed WIFI internet and it comes fully furnished and equipped.

I stayed in Ivana and Mateo's apartment for three months while I was working in Palermo. They were excellent hosts -- extremely accommodating, friendly and just all around great people. Their recommendations for the neighborhood all worked out very well when I first arrived. Ivana was even sweet enough to leave some vegetarian cookbooks for me and research vegan restaurants before I arrived.
The apartment is lovely and comfortable with a wonderful vibe about it. It is fully equipped (down to reading material and music!) so you will feel at home even if traveling lightly.
As far as location, you cannot really do better! Palermo is the perfect area to stay at when visiting Buenos Aires. The apartment is located within walking distance of (really everything but specifically) Plaza Serrano and Armenia. On that short walk, there are tons of restaurants and interesting shops. There are three grocery stores, a bakery and a wonderful produce shop within the block. You are also just one block to Plaza Italia where you can catch the subway, buses and a taxi at anytime.
I had a wonderful experience overall but what really sticks out is the wonderfulness (yes, I think that's a word) of the hosts and the great vibe in the apartment. I'll conclude by saying that if you are questioning it for any reason, don't -- stay here! I've traveled quite a bit and had the opportunity to get to know Buenos Aires very well and this is a perfect apartment whether you're traveling for business or pleasure.
Ivana and Mateo's apartment is clean, bright and in a great location. I especially loved all the plants on the balcony! They are wonderful hosts and gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and shopping. Thank you so much for making our stay in Buenos Aires so comfortable!
I stayed at Mateo's and Ivana's with my friend for a week and we had a great time! The flat is located very close to the subway station, close to the cool bars, restaurants, cafés and all the services you need in Palermo (viejo/soho). The flat is charming, clean and has everything you need in it. Mateo and Ivana were very helpful in giving is advice on things to do and even welcomed us with a wine bottled. They've been very nice, warm and helpful including allowing us to leave our bag packs until late after check out time.
We'd definitely go back to stay with them and wholeheartedly recommend them!
Great apartment located exactly where you want to be in Buenos Aires. It's a block from the metro and buses and easy 10 min walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Palermo Soho. The apartment is perfect size for 2 people, great shower, has air con and a small kitchen (which we cooked our Christmas Day meal in!). Ivana and Mateo are also really lovely and helpful with restaurant, museum etc recommendations and with any help you need in the flat during your stay you can just reach them on whatsapp. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in BA.
Great apartment in a great neighbourhood. The checkout time was a bit early as we had a very late flight and a lot of luggage but Ivana went out of her way to help us out by calling a few places in Spanish so we could leave our bags somewhere. Also, her restaurant suggestions were great!!
When were stayed Buenos Aires was experiencing a heatwave so the fact that the apartment had airconditioning was an absolute lifesaver - especially as we had a baby with us.
Totally a welcoming apartment to dive into Buenos Aries. Easy to orient yourself in and out.
Our hosts were friendly, always open to communicate/ help! Cherished our days with drinks, great music and relaxing atmosphere of the flat!
My boifriend and I stayed at Ivana's and Mateo's apt for a long weekend and it was so great! the location is perfect, in the middle of hip Palermo with all the caffes and restaurants just outside, park and subway just a two minute walk. In the apartment we felt right at home with a good bed and shower and a nice little porch too! But the best part was meeting our hosts, they gave wonderful recommendations and made us feel welcome! Thanks Ivana and Mateo!! Ishai and Daphna
Mateo and Ivana are very friendly and helpful and, although the apartment was convenient to the city and had all basic necessities such as lovely hot water and functioning appliances, we found the general condition to be rather neglected and rundown - broken wall tiles and light switches, fraying straw chairs etc. The atmosphere is more like a student squat than a cared-for apartment.
We are sorry to hear that you felt that way about our apartment. Having been 5-star hosts for almost a year now, we try to go above and beyond for our guests, and we are sorry to hear this after you left and not during your stay.
The shabby-chic atmosphere of our place is something sought and cared for, and it has been much appreciated by all of our previous guests. We are both artists and this was our previous home-atelier, so we try to keep the ambiance, along with some works of art on the walls. This is our way of keeping it homey and cozy for our guests to feel at home when they are away from their own.
Regarding the broken light switch, thank you for letting us know, we have already replaced it.
Ivana was lovely, met us on time and got us settled in. It was nice, clean and quite arty, great if you love the little vintage touches, which I do. We had a bottle of wine left for us and Ivana was really helpful recommending things to do in the neighbourhood, and sent us an email of suggestions. The location is perfect for exploring the boutiques and coffee shops of Palermo, but also very close to the parks and art museums, and the Subte, the tube, so its easy to visit the rest of the city. My first use of Airbnb, and Im happy i did. They also have a great shower-just what you need after a long flight!
