Eyal and Jen were fantastic hosts. Extremely warm and welcoming. This was my first airbnb experience and any apprehensions I had were immediately eased upon meeting them in person.
Their apartment was located in great proximity to a lot of really fun locations.
Thanks to these two, I will be an airbnb user again! Thanks Eyal and Jen!!
Eyal and Jen were wonderful hosts! They were very friendly and had a lot of good advice for restaurants and local attractions. The house is located close to Santa Monica Pier and the Promenade. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and we had a great time staying with them. I would highly recommend their Airbnb!
This was our 2nd visit to Eyal and Jen's beautiful apartment. Although we only stayed one night, they were just as welcoming and pleasant as last time.
The location of their home is PERFECT for us. In the morning, we had a great green smoothy at Kreation, took a 4-mile walk on the beach....then returned to Montana Ave for an excellent breakfast at Marmalades.
We'll be back!
The location is really great, ocean and main attractions within a 10-15min. walk. A supermarket & cafes in the neighbourhood for any food supplies. It was tricky for us to find the keys (apparently there's another garage with the same number) and to put them in the box each time you get into the house but that is inevitable :) The hosts were responsive and friendly.
The apartment is exactly as charming as the pictures state, following house rules isn't that scary, although cooking in turns seemed a bit weird so we tried to hold the kitchen space as little as possible. The rooms face each other and both are located near the bathroom so one needs to take a robe/sth to wear to look appropriate if you bump into others.
All in all - a lovely room in a great location.
Nina, thank you for this feedback to help us improve. To clarify for our readers, the garages are not numbered. The apartment building has a unique address. Your cab driver dropped you off in the back alley of the apartment instead of the front entrance. When you discovered this, you did the right thing to call me so we were able to resolve it immediately. Future guests can avoid this by reading the street signs carefully and entering from the main road instead of the back alley.
In regards to your other comments, guests should be aware that they will be sharing the apartment with their two friendly hosts, and so a little coordination may occasionally be necessary when using the kitchen or bathroom. Thank you for raising these issues, so we can clarify in advance, and please come back anytime :)
Eyal and Jen were very accommodating and friendly hosts. Their place is in an awesome location, walking distance to the beach and third street promenade. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!
We loved staying here! Highlight of our trip so far. Room and house is spotless! Great hosts and perfect location. We loved the bikes which Eyal let us borrow. Thanks for having us, we enjoyed every moment!
Eyal was super helpful and friendly in getting us set up in the apartment, and had plenty of local recommendations. The location was great in Santa Monica, not far from the beach. A lovely place to stay, we felt very welcome.
