The view from the terrace is indeed marvelous, the location is very nice: close to Assuta hospital (my reason for staying there) and has a supermarket nearby.
The apartment itself is a small room with kitchenette, air conditioning is old and noisy, as is the refrigerator. The staircase leading to the room is quite neck-breaking. The jacuzzi turns on automatically at intervals, which almost gave me a heart attack at 3 in the morning.
The apartment is clean and well equipped though. WiFi is a bit slow and doesn't cover all of the room.
Dorit is a wonderful host, very accommodating, she helped me out a great deal, which sort of covers many of the 'so-so' points.
What a wonderful idea to be able to offer such a gorgeous penthouse to visitors! On the whole the place is fantastic. Compared to a lot of other places I have rented in Tel Aviv, the accomodation space itself is on the small side, but the grand size of the terrace and the jaccuzi more than makes up for any deficiencies. A couple of gripes, the cooking area is rather precarious, and unfortunately for me, the wifi was rather on the slow side and for some reason would occasionally fall out.
Its great to be able to (email hidden) Aviv skyline in its entirity, particularly in the warm evenings.
The apartment was beautiful and had a lovely view of the city. Please be sure to confirm that you would like 2 beds if you would like both, as there is an extra charge. Once that hiccup was taken care of though, we had a lovely stay.
I had a wonderful 7 weeks staying at Dorit's lovely rooftop oasis! The Apartment is exactly as pictured and boasts a wonderful view of the park and the Tel Aviv skyline. While the apartment is literally a stones throw away from a bus stop and bicycle rental station. It was super easy to get anywhere I needed to go. I even biked to the beach from the apartment. Dorit was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. I would highly recommend this apartment.
The flat is a small size bedroom with a bathroom and a kitchenette on the top floor of the building. It leads onto a covered outdoor balcony and to a large and welcoming open roof terrace. The view is marvellous, the air (even in mid-summer) is great, the neighbourhood very quiet and with a car, 10 minutes from the city center. The flat is exquisitely decorated and kept in very good and above standard shape. Everything works as it should. Parking is freely available across the road. Note that the (sofa)bed is very comfortable but on the small side, as is the shower cubicle. The owner is very keen on privacy so hosting family or friends for a drink on the roof terrace is not possible. For us this was a definite downside. We would have also preferred to have the electricity included in the price rather than pay for it separately in the end. With hindsight we would have also preferred to have agreed on set times for the cleaner to come in.
