Her place was perfect! Enough space, cozy atmosphere-it was lovely house. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at her flat. We traveled every Rome by foot .
The restaurant that she recommended on the guide book was really great.
If we have a chance to visit Rome again, we would stay at Alice's house again:)
Alice's place was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and beautiful art. We could easily walk everywhere and there were some really cute cafes nearby that were far cheaper than the more touristy places in the city.
Nice apartment in Trastevere, I'd be happy to rent again from Alice!
Great, cute flat in a brilliant location in trastevere - perfect place to explore the city.
Great apartment in a great location. Only a short walk to the bustling bars in Trastevere and easy walking distance to the ancient ruins. Everything about our stay was really easy and we would recommend to anyone.
Alice has been very helpful before and during our stay at her lovely flat. She explained how to get to her place, made sure that everything was fine during our weekend in Rome, gave us names of great restaurants, etc. We haven't actually met her but her friend was there to welcome us (very late in the night).
The flat is very well situated, next to a tram station and near a lively area where you can go out for dinner and late drinks. The neighbourhood is calm.
Alice's flat is well decorated, cosy, comfortable and spacious. The only little problem was the flooded shower. The flat is a bit humid but Alice has a very efficient dehumidifier.
Overall, it is a beautiful place to stay. I would highly recommend it!
Great location, charming flat with plenty of space for two.
Cookware in kitchen was very useful. Tram and bus stations right in front of the house, and the beautiful district of Trastevere a stones throw away. The shower flooded a bit and the flat was a bit humid, but these were the only minus points to a comfortable and cool apartment!
Alice's apartment is very large and comfortable, and located in a quiet part of the Trastevere neighborhood (not right by the bars and restaurants, which are closer to the river, but less than a 10 min walk away) The apartment is not by the metro, but Rome is very walkable and it is only a 15 minute walk to the Tiber river (there is also a tram line literally 20 feet from Alice's door that goes to the Venezia station (right by the Vittoriano monument) we took when we didn't want to walk). Alice was very communicate and her friend was at the apartment when we arrived. Alice also has a lot of cooking supplies and thoughtfully laid out clean towels, bedsheets, etc. we could use. I had a very positive experience here and would highly recommend it!
We had a great stay at Alice's place. It is indeed quite dark but we found it to be the perfect hideaway for afternoon naps.
Nice little space located just some 20 steps away from a bus stop. Alice was very helpful and responded quickly. We and the Wifi had more or less and on-and-off-relationship, but this was probably due to our smartphones.
The area is quite central, many restaurants are within one kilometre walk. (You should trust Alice's hints she kindly offered...)
The flea market on sundays some hundred metres away is quite a treat (even when its raining cats and dogs).
Overall a very nice experience in a cozy appartment in a quite unusual outfit. Highly recommended if you are traveling by two and looking for a clean and welcoming place.
