Adam was very welcoming and we had a great time at his place. It looks like exactly like it is in the pictures. The neighborhood is great - safe, lots of corner stores and restaurants. The C and G train are right around the corner and it's only an 8 minute walk to Atlantic Terminal where the 2,3,4,5,B,D,N,Q and R trains run.
The place is clean and everything worked. The view to Manhattan from the living room is really nice. I'd stay here again ;)
Adam is a very nice person. He help us in everything. My boyfriend and i spend a great Christmas time in his house. The apartment is pretty cool and very warm. The views from the window are amazing and you can go to the rooftop too to see the incredible sunsets. The neighborhood is safe, very close to the center of Manhattan and markets in Brooklyn or Williamsburg and you have a lot of place to eat. Honest this house become a very special place for me and i always remember it.
Adam is very kind and helpful. The apartment is old (this isn't a problem), but spacious, with nice view of Manhattan and it's located at the sixth floor, with elevator; in a quiet and very nice place.
The apartment was very dirty, and we bought immediately new/clean bed linen. We had only one wardrobe (only six drawers for two people for 22 days). In the apartment there were other 2 closets, but they were full! From the window (near the bed) came in light, wind & cold.
Adam's place was cute and clean, just like the listing photos. He's also very responsive in answering all of our questions, even late at night! Look forward to our next visit in NYC, we would stay with Adam again no question!
About the Host, Adam
My name is Adam, I'm originally from Detroit, and have been living in Brooklyn since 1997. I've been in this Fort Greene apartment for the past 8 years. I work as a lighting designer and photographer. My girlfriend and I (we met in Fort Greene Park!) have recently had a child, and I've moved in to her place, just a few blocks away.
We are renting out my apartment while we save enough money to buy a larger home together next year. We hope to share our little piece of Brooklyn as hosts to you and your family during your stay here!
