Jeff's place looks exactly like it does in the photos. I wish I would have gotten a chance to experience some of the local attractions that Jeff suggested in his welcome sheet, but due to my schedule, I was unable to explore the area. I would love to come back and stay at Jeff's and experience what the area has to offer.
The apartment is very clean and has all the necessities. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
The room is pretty. Jeff is also very warm and friendless. However, if you are the hotel room type of person, I don't recommend this place. Actually I generally don't recommend you come to St Petersburg! The climate makes this place a lot of bugs and geckos and my girlfriend heard something squeaking in one night, though it never came again. Overall, the house is great!
Jeff was an awesome host! We loved staying at the Craftsman House. The listing was just as shown! Jeff showed me around when I first got there- very secluded, and a very safe and secure environment. He also made sure we had fresh ground coffee to use in the morning, since the coffee shop downstairs does not open until 10am. Jared works in the shop with Jeff, and we enjoyed very much talking about music, and the local eats. They were both very nice, and Jeff is very supportive and encouraging of the local businesses. We love it! The area is quiet, and very close to some great local restaurants. Summer is not an ideal time to stay for multiple days- the room was a tad warm during the day but cooled off great at night. So if the warmth would bother you, remember that this great apartment is historic, and there isn't great insulation. It does get warm in the summer. Jeff was very accommodating for our pups (we brought 2) and the cleaning fee is way reasonable. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to work restraints, but we would definitely stay again! And if we are ever in the area, we will definitely stop for a cup of coffee. Better and cheaper than Starbucks :) Thanks Jeff for a great stay!
We had a great stay at this apartment. Great location, right on the main street, with lots of little restaurants, cafes, and yoga studios nearby. Jeff was very accommodating and nice. We would DEFINITELY stay there again next time we visit!
This loft/apartment was exactly as it is described. Its above a really cool restaurant/craftsman house. Jeff left a list of restaurants and other places to visit while in town. There are a few really cool coffee houses within walking distance as well. I would absolutely stay at Jeff's place again.
