We spent a week here and loved every minute of our trip! The studio was a perfect size for us and we had everything we needed. We cooked many nights there and Jeff has thought of every last kitchen detail that you might need. It is also perfectly located so you can easily get to beaches or to downtown St. Pete. There is so much privacy the way it is tucked away that you forget you are above a café. We can't wait to book this studio with Jeff again! Thanks for helping us have a lovely vacation!
Jeff was very responsive to our questions before we arrived. Although we arrived late at night, he met us in person to show us into the rooms up stairs and helped to turn down the sofa bed. The place is conveniently located in town near the beach. Also there is a coin laundry just across the street.
The rooms were very clean and it was great to have a good working air conditioner. Although it was difficult to keep the whole place cool during the hottest hours of the day. We had a lovely 2 nights stay at Jeff's place.
The apartment was great, beautiful wood, vintage touches, handmade dishes, and lots of light. Even though it's a studio, it was surprising how many things it has packed in there, yet it doesn't feel too small or cramped. We didn't hear any noise from the gallery below and the entrance is in the back so it felt nice and private. The shaded parking was great too! Great location; pretty much everything from the beach on the gulf to Bay Shore Dr and the museums are within a 15 minute drive, and there are some great places to eat a short walk down the street (Nitally's, Casita Taqueria). Jeff was very attentive, amiable, and responsive and helpful in answering questions and giving suggestions on things to do. The freshly roasted and ground coffee was a nice touch :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
We enjoyed our time at the Craftsman house. Jeff was a great host who went out of his way to make sure he could accommodate us at arrival time. Everything is as pictured - no surprises. Jeff was helpful and let us know about things going on in the area. The apartment is in a good location - only about a 10 minute drive from the beach/downtown St. Pete.
My wife, daughter and I spent a total of five nights at Jeff's place (split into two stays) in the past week and we enjoyed in immensely. Jeff made us feel right at home and we ate in his cafe 2-3 times. Would stay at The Craftsman House again the next time we are in the area.
Jeff was incredibly nice and the place was amazing! It's very close to restaurants, and all the tourist areas you want to check out. We took our bikes and with help from Jeff, we easily got around. I enjoyed staying here and recommend it to anyone coming to the area! He was sweet enough to let us have our puppy in the unit, and i'm very grateful for his awesome tips and allowing us to take such pretty memories home with us!!! Thank u Jeff!!!!
The Craftsman House is perfect - even before we checked out, my girlfriend and I decided we'll be back in the future. The apartment was very clean, and in a relatively quiet part of St. Pete. I won't repeat what other reviews have already praised, but I will say the parking for guests is great - shaded all day from the sun, so we were never welcomed with a car interior fit to bake a pizza!
The Craftsman House was amazing! Jeff was very knowledgeable and accommodating for our visit. He gave us suggestions for Cinco de Mayo and even gave us fresh ground coffee for the morning. This is a great place to stay in St Pete!
Everyone who gave rave reviews about this B&B were spot on. I would only be repeating their comments because I only have good things to say about my stay.
The location is great. Lots to do and see. The room was comfortable, and I want the bed for my home. :)
I would like to see Wi-Fi access but I hear that is to be added soon. Oh! I think the studio apartment could use a woman's touch. Maybe a couple new bathmats and towels with color, and a dish-towel to save on paper towels. Yes these are minor details because everything else is perfect. And no you don't need to bring your own cup. There are beautiful pottery dishes on hand to use.
Jeff couldn't have been more helpful. He spent a lot of time answering my many questions about the area. He also had some great recommendations for places to see, where to eat, have fun, and not have to spend a lot of money in the process. I would visit again in a heart-beat.
Jeff is a great host, very helpful, and informative about the area and happenings in St. Pete. The apartment was as listed on the site and very clean. The location is in the art district and close to many interesting restaurants, shops and bars. We were happy with the flat and would book it again.
