Other Things to Note
A dog lives here during the winter. She rehairs once a year. If it happens close to your stay, there may be a few hairs which we didn't catch - so it's not a place for people with dog allergy.
Please no smoking inside the house. There is a sheltered area in the garden for outdoor smoking. We would appreciate it if you could observe the recycling guidelines in our area. There are separate containers for plastic, glass, metal, paper, bio and other waste. Kindly remove circulars and so on from the mailbox. The neighbourhood is very quiet on Sundays, e.g. lawn mowing is not allowed. It would be a great day to have a barbecue on the patio or just lie in the sun in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Our guests have commented that it is a very tranquil and relaxing neighbourhood so please keep it that way by not making any unnecessary noise if you arrive home late at night.
John and Vesna were a delight to deal with and it was a real pleasure to stay in their home. Everything was exactly as described and expected, the house a very comfortable home in a great location. But it was the extra touches of kindness that means a lot to us, travelling with 3 young, children they made sure that everything would be perfect. We highly recommend staying here.
What a lovely house in Vienna. Enormous house with lots of space all around. Beautiful kitchen and living room downstairs and large bedrooms upstairs.
John and his wife were very courteous and friendly. Even though we were delayed and arrived at 10pm - John stayed to make sure to show the place around. The written instructions were meticulous and detailed. Even there was a Champagne to welcome us !
Will stay again if we return to Vienna.
John made us feel very welcome and the accomodation lived up to our expectations, a really charming apartment in a quiet part of town but easily accessible to the center and transport routes to Vienna. We had a wonderful stay in Baden. Thanks very much John and Vesna
The appartment is spacious and very well equipped. The host was very helpful and did his best to provide us with the best experience. The lower floor has one bedroom while all other bedrooms are about 20 stairs up within the house.
The house is very nice, a charming garden and very quiet. There are also two bikes that we used to ride to the bakery and the supermarket.
Lovely home with a great kitchen and backyard in Baden, walking distance to everything in town. Bus around the corner to Vienna -- very convenient! The house was clean and well-supplied (it is the owner's own home, so fully equipped with cooking utensils, spices, etc.). The owners were (email hidden)rival times, how things worked in the home, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
What a great place, and wonderful hosts! John and Vesna are very thoughtful, and truly made us feel "at home" -- they provided great directions, as well as good info about the home and the town. We were in Baden during one of the worst heatwaves in that area's history (Aug 2013). But window shutters and good ventilation made it tolerable. The house is very roomy and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. But, there are so many super restaurants in the area, you won't be tempted to cook often. The garden is lovely and serene, and we all really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this lovely home to anyone staying in the area. Thank you again John and Vesna!
