My girls and I spent a wonderful time in the apartment from lyla and Richard. We felt warmly welcomed and had a perfect time. We decided to watch the new years fireworks from the balcony at our apartment and it was delightful and spectacular. Thank you so much for staying at your place. Best wishes from Switzerland nina
Lyla and Richard's place was a TERRIFIC place to stay while visiting London. Their place was large, private, perfect location, and had the most comfortable beds one could ask for! It had all of the amenities one would need, including wonderful views all around. Very close to all transportation, restaurants and bars. And Lyla and Richard could not have been more welcoming and their communication was great prior to my arrival. I visit London often and I really enjoyed staying here. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a stay in London!
We had a fantastic time at Lyla & Richard's place. The view of London is great, the flat cozy, & clean. Elephant & Castle is really central to everything and with the tube across the road you can get to places fast if you don't walk. Last but not least Lyla & Richard were the friendliest & most professional hosts. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you can appreciate the type of architecture which surrounds the place too.
I have never felt so welcome by an airbnb host. They were responsive, helpful, and accomodating. When we arrived they provided plenty of advice for seeing the city and getting around, they even had tour books you could reference. The location was wonderful, right across the street from a tube station and several bus stops, it was also easy to walk to many attractions. The views of the city were also wonderful. I really cannot say enough great things about our experience in London and hope to visit again.
Lyla and Richard are great. Lyla showed us around, gave some great recommendations, and made us feel very comfortable for our stay. She was awesome. They are also interesting people and it was fun to learn about their life in London.
Lyla and Richard were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment is quirky and very cool, and very spacious, the building is of architectural interest and the location is central but offers a glimpse of real London. Lyla and Richard had prepared a guide to the area that was useful and informative. Oh and the apartment comes with a library that can keep you immersed for hours, if books are your thing!
