Fully furnished 2BR, 1BA flat in beautiful Victorian available now for last week in March for Spring Break. It's really a fun, open, comfortable space, that's nicely furnished. It's perfect for a family with a child, or group of vacationers (can sleep up to 6). The master bedroom is spacious with lots of closets and a bay window. The 2nd bedroom is set up as a kid's room now, with a comfy futon and lots of toys and stuffed animals. The living room is warm and inviting, and opens up into the kitchen - everyone loves to hang out here. There is a small office right off the LR, overlooking the garden. The kitchen is fully loaded and there is a washer/dryer/laundry room right off the kitchen. And then there are French doors opening up to a beautiful back yard, complete with a deck, lawn, trees, foliage, fireplace, and grill for all your BBQ needs. One car parking space is also included. Dogs are okay, cats are not, as I’m quite allergic.
The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and walking distance to Divisadero and Fillmore shops/restaurants/shows, etc. as well as Laurel Heights, the Presidio and the Inner Richmond. And it's only 2 blocks from Trader Joe's!! Really a great location.
My family was greeted by Sandy with a warm welcome upon our arrival, she had a list of items of to do's and how to's about San Francisco and the house to go over that were quite helpful.
The area was good and easy to get around to/from the locations that we had visited. (with the help of our phone navigation) Most places that we visited were about a 9-15 min drive pending on traffic.
We were glad there was a dedicated parking spot in the garage especially after witnessing how parking is handled in San Francisco. Sandy's neighbors couldn't have been friendlier when we saw them.
The on premises washer and dryer came in handy.
The master bedroom is located nearside of the street and was at times noisy in the middle of the night as you can hear everything. People walking by talking and cars driving by to the garage door opening and closing. Which wasn't a huge concern for us seeing we were coming off a long days of sightseeing and had hardly any problems falling asleep.
Now for the unpleasant - Bathroom shower curtain was very moldy (I almost bought a new one) as well as along the tubs surroundings. The handle to the tub broke off and we alerted our host who was quick to respond but it was never fixed for the remaining four days. The overall cleanliness of the place was not to be desired by my family hence our little to no time we spent there. The living room carpets were dirty. Our bath towels had an odor to them like they weren't dried thoroughly. We had several fruit flies around the house from the bedroom to the kitchen.
Being a first time customer to Airbnb, we still think is a great concept and will be using it again but maybe just a little more careful in our choices when possible.
This cute little house is in a very nice location and also managed by an extremely friendly and interesting host. Sandy was very kind, helpful, responsive and accommodating. We loved the location; the neighborhood was quite, safe and nice. The back yard really is a plus. We had a great time there. We recommend Sandy’s place!
Perfect location and kind host, Sandy~~ Besides good price!!
My trip was so awesome because of your house!!
You don't have to find any other house... Thx Sandy~^^
Sandy's place was great. Very nice place with a beautiful back yard. Good location to access the city. The neighbors upstairs were amazing and extremely helpful. Sandy was awesome to work with and was very nice, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Exceptional experience overall.
Sandy's place was great, centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, and she is part of a solar energy start up so was also an interesting host. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Sandy's for the San Francisco marathon and half-marathon this year, and it was our first airbnb experience. We couldn't have been happier - there were 3 of us, and staying in her 2 bedroom apartment was perfect. It's very easy to get around because of its great location, and it made the time there so much more homey to have a kitchen to cook pasta in, place to do laundry after the race, and amazing neighbors upstairs who let us borrow bikes to get to the race start line at 5:30AM! She was there to welcome us our first day, and had prepared a map and list of important things about the house. Everything about her was super laid-back, and we were lucky to have a great first host.
we had a great stay. the apartment is beautiful and spacious, especially with the garden. the internet was fast and stable. joann, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. we definitely want to come back.
What a great experience! This was the first time my family and I rented a private home
so we were not sure what to expect. Sandy and her friends were so heldpful every step
Of the way. We are hoping that we can rent it again in the future!
The home itself is classic San Francisco complete with high ceilings and hardwood floors.
We loved the large kitchen though we ate out a lot! And there was so much room for everyone to
catch their z's comfortably. It was clean and comfortable throughout.
Thanks for everything :)
