Evelyn is a lovely host that makes you feel at home :)
Find her place it's a bit difficult if you aren't for the area but the house is clean and well organized. Breakfast is served whenever you ask for and it's rich and delicious!
I completely recommend her as a host :)
Evelyn was extremely kind and helpful. She welcomed us with tea and an apple tart and a cozy fire. Our room was clean and quiet and warm, and she even arranged a little crib for our baby. She directed us to a good dinner place and made an enormous full Irish breakfast to send us on our way!
Like most places we found in Ireland, the wifi was a bit spotty. (We recommend planning your journey in advance and printing out whatever you need before leaving for Ireland.)
For those who care, the mattress was very firm, and there were a couple of friendly little dogs, but they were never in the way. All in all it was the perfect place to stay on our journey. Thank you!
We had a great stay with Evelyn . She took extra effort to make us vegetarian breakfast and get us yogurt. She made extra coffee and muffins in the evening although it was not part of the stay agreement. Her fresh rasberry home made muffins and scorns were really tasty . Would definitely like to stay here again and would recommend this to all.
We had a lovely stay with Evelyn. Her warmth was lovely. The food was great & a lovely afternoon tea of homemade apple pie was a surprise.
Evelyn's home was very nice and roomy. We had a bit of trouble with the directions but I am sure it's because we were not used to the Irish road signs. We arrived very late and Evelyn was very accommodating. Breakfast was very delicious and the beds were very comfortable. So happy we had our own bathroom. :)
Me and my mother stayed at Evelyn's for a weekend. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We also had our own bathroom - everything very neat. The breakfast was always fresh (the freshly baked scones - delicious!) and she offered different things for every taste. Evelyn was a very kind and caring host. She helped us to find our way through the city and had a lot of stories to tell.
If you plan to take public transport - be prepared to walk a bit, the next station is quite far away. But if you like walking and the weather is fine, the walk can be very pleasant.
Evelyn is a lovely host and totally organized , as she has been in the business a long time. Everything was very well prepared and we got all of her attention as she did not have any other guests at the time. Evelyn, stayed up and waited for us , even came out to meet us , as we missed an important turn, into her access.
We were only there for one night , so sadly we did not have a great deal of time , after a late arrival, or leaving time to really see all of her grounds , and the lovely garden.
Evelyn went out of her way to make us welcome and at home.

Hi I am Evelyn, I live in Limerick in southern Ireland. I run a bed and breakfast and have been doing so for the past 25 years and enjoy meeting and talking to people and find them facinating. I also have a separate self catering apartment which people use. My children have all emigrated and I enjoy the company.I have two small dogs and they are very good hosts and insist on greeting each guest.I find most of the guests very friendly and informal.
