Big Apple winter means strolling Central Park for hot cocoa at the Boathouse, late gourmet dining with a Hudson River view, world-class Jazz at Lincoln Center, a Broadway show or two, lots of window shopping, or just snuggle the romatic weekend away!
Convenient, private, smoke-free, apartment located on the 12th floor of a friendly 16-story elevator building in the center of mid-town Manhattan.
One block from Central Park, Columbus Circle, and Time-Warner Center, and just a 10-minute walk to Times Square, Lincoln Center, MoMA, Plaza Hotel, and Rockefeller Center, our apartment is also surrounded by some of Manhattan's top restaurants and night life.
The historic building is just steps away from many subway lines (1, A, C, E, D, B), and 2 blocks to the N, Q, R or F which make most of Manhattan accessible in 15-minutes
Our neighborhood is popular and safe, with plenty of pedestrians, street vendors, and our building porters who are on lobby duty 9-5 everyday to receive packages, as well as overnight on weekends to prevent any hassles.
Starbucks, Whole Foods, cheap & cheerful local restaurants, and two Michelin 3-star rated gourmet destinations are nearby.
Our studio apartment is a pied-a-terre we use when in the City as a launching pad for business and social activities. The room has a comfortable but firm full-size bed with four pillows and fresh linens. A twin Aero bed is also available. The space is kept clean and comfortable at all times.
The bathroom is spacious and has a deep 5-foot tub for soaking after long days walking or dancing in Manhattan. Plenty of hot water and fresh towels.
The kitchen has all the necessities; coffee-maker, min-fridge, toaster, stove, and utensils galore.
Desk space with a good office chair, FREE WiFi access, and printer available if needed.
GO FOR IT!
Central Park is a block away and great for runners, bikers, strollers who can enjoy its huge lake, picnic areas, zoo, and lots of free live music every weekend of the summer
So come to the Big Apple, stay in a friendly, comfortable, convenient, reasonably-priced studio apartment that's all your own, and save your money to work and play your butt off!

Easy going building, but no pets, no parties, nor late night noise-making are allowed.
It was totally a breeze to get keys and the host had arranged for breakfast goodies and a bottle of wine to greet us on our arrival, really a nice gesture. The apartment was cozy and clean, perfect for a pair that were gone most of the day but wanted the ability to cook breakfast and the occasional meal. It was bitterly cold in NY while we were visiting and we loved coming home to a warm abode with plenty of hot water for soaking in a tub. The location just off Columbus Circle was absolutely outstanding with a nearby Whole Foods, tons of subway lines just outside the door, easy access to shows in Times Square, and walking along Fifth Avenue and in Central Park. I'd happily come back and stay any time.
Quelques jours chez Peter , au cœur de Manhattan, emplacement idéal pour une visite de New York . Appartement confortable , accueil très sympathique , nous reviendrons .
Merci beaucoup for your nice feedback, Sebastien, which I also translated here for others...
"For a few days with Peter in the heart of Manhattan, with an ideal location for a visit to New York. Comfortable, very friendly welcome, so we will return."
So glad your parents enjoyed my place again... Encore!
Peter's place in an ideal location from which to discover New York. It's central and accessible from several train and bus routes. I loved being so close to Central Park. The apartment is well equiped, warm and comfortable. There is no TV, which I liked. Peter is an excellent host, quick to respond to any query and very helpful.
I was at Peter's place for Christmas and it was amazing.
Peter is a great anfitrion who takes care of you as if were long time friends.
He waits his guests with a cup of good coffe for welcome.
Also the apartment is in a great locación two steps of Central Park, Columbus Circle and Broadway wich is fabulous to go walking everywhere.
Back home you can enjoy a good warm bath and Peter also leaves you shower salts and bubble soap.
So if you want to feel Christmas, New York is the place and Peter has the spirit of it.
We also started a new tradition that is "leave a chocolate for the next to come" as the guest before me had leaft one that I enjoyed and I did so for the one that will come after me
Thank you for your kind words below, Laurence, we will meet up some day...
"I had a great time in Peter's quiet apartment. Important after days spent in New York hubbub. Extremely good, was being 50m from a metro station served by many lines ... Also next to a shopping center in which has Whole Foods, my food store and organic items, favorite !!!! I have never met such considerate host as Peter. Whether before, sending me little explanatory messages or for to see if everything went well. I was received with flowers, bottle of wine, enough to make breakfast. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet Peter. A friend who greeted me just as kind and considerate, and that left me their contact information if I need something. Apartment very quiet, very quiet, I can highly recommend this apartment and its host."
I stayed at Peter's place for 4 days and am very happy about the whole experience. It is in a perfect location of a very nice neighborhood, close to everything, central park, metro station, wholefoods, etc. And I am extremely happy to know Peter too. He is so nice and has so many interesting stories to share. I highly recommend this place!
My parents stayed at Peter’s place when they came to visit me. Peter’s apartment was perfect, very clean, functional and the location is perfect (2 blocks from Central Park, the subway, couple of blocks from my place).
Peter is the perfect host; I could visit the apartment before to make the reservation and the process to make the reservation, to handle the keys… could not be easier. I definitely recommend his apartment. Many thanks Peter.
