  • There are three things I look for in a great AirBnb apartment:

*) Location - Hakim's apartment is in the heart of Montreal
*) Cleanliness - The apartment was spotless, complete with washed dishes, a clean floor, and clean towels and bedsheets
*) Amenities - With a stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, dryer, and WiFi, you have all of amenities of home

Highly recommended. It's as nice as it looks in the pictures and the host Hakim is very helpful.

  • The condo was great -close to my husband's conference at the Hilton, and close to the Montreal Jazz Festival--2 blocks!! Refrigerator, microwave and real bed! Great!!!

  • Stayed 1 week for my conference. 2 min walk to conference. One caveat. Not much restaurants around conference center, except for lots of chinese restaurants. Apt was clean and nice as advertised. My wife complained about the comforness of the bed. I felt okay, maybe because I have low expectation about IKEA furniture. Hakim was great. One disappointing thing was that Hakim asked me to pay extra $70 for cleaning (later he reduced it to $30) after I submitted my credit card info. My labmate booked one of Hakim's apt and didn't have extra cleaning fee. Hakim said he changed their policy and he forgot to put it. I paid it anyway becasue I'd get reimbursed, but it was definiately fishy. If he forgot, it's his fault and he shouldn't have asked for it. I gave 3* b/c of this, otherwise it'd be 4*.

  • This is the second time I have stayed at one of Hakim's places in Montreal. Always a great stay! Highly recommended.

  • We enjoyed our stay in this apt. Best feature is being convenient across the street from metro/convention center. Though being on a main, busy street is pretty noisy even at night. It has a nice kitchen enough equipped to eat in. Sofa in LR and bed in BR are not too comfortable ( if this is info is of importance for smone). For us when going on vacation it is about having a good night sleep, and being comfortable sleeping or relaxing on couch. We paid extra for parking in the building and the spot was very tight for a small car. Good pricing for apt overall. Good AC/Heat system.
Hakim did respond quickly to our inquiries.

  • Great location and very helpful and hospitable! I will be back again to visit.

We cooked many meals in the apartment and all cookware was in good condition. If anyone is planning to cook, bring your own spices.

    Can't wait to get back!

  • This is an excellent location to stay at in Montreal, I will definitely stay here again. Very close to the metro station and great places to (website hidden). Catherine's street and Chinatown have a lot to offer too, which is in walking distance of the apartment. Hakim is very reliable and was easy to contact when we needed him. Great first time in Montreal.

  • Place was great! My first experience using airbnb and everything was perfect. Clean space, great building, loved the location. I travel to Montreal often, would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

My only other feedback- add salt and pepper to the kitchen supplies :)

  • We spent 3 weeks in this apartment and from day one we felt at home. It was clean and everything was there. We are from Montreal but live outside of the country and were visiting our family. We really enjoyed being close to the old Montreal, just few minutes walk from everything: restaurants, Jazz festival, Ste Catherine street's shopping etc. Nice, clean, simple with everything you need. We recommend this place and would definitely come back.
