A lot of charm for this typical parisian appartment with exposed beams, a large mezzanine, a patio and a little terrace, in the heart of Montorgueil area (in the border between the first and the second arrondissement), in a pedestrian street. Grocery store across the door and also several fresh market stands in the street. All the great shopping and cafes of Montorgueil at your doorstep !
TIPICALLY PARISIAN AREA !
All amenities (kitchen, Internet, washing machine, bathroom, fresh linen and towels).
Five minutes walk from the Louvre, the Marais and all the subway lines (subway station : Les Halles).
The appartment is really quiet (overlooking the courtyard) despite of the perfect and animated location !
This appartment will be perfect for a few days in Paris enabling you to go everywhere in the city by walk !
We spent 6 nights at Antoine's place in Paris. As others have mentioned the location is perfect -- within walking distance to many of the big sites of Paris and only a 5 minute walk from Chatelet Les Halles station. We loved the neighbourhood too, which was lively and had tons of dining, drinking, and shopping options. The apartment felt safe and secure, and was very quiet inside. Antoine was very easy to communicate with, and also very flexible -- which was great for us as we ended up coming 2 days early.
One thing to note is that the apartment was not that clean. Nothing horrible, but you get the sense that it never really gets properly cleaned (dusty, stains in the toilet and bath tub, that kind of thing). Honestly, though, if you are in Paris to explore the city, as we were, you won't be spending much time in the apartment anyway, so it doesn't need to be perfect.
Bottom-line, if you are looking for a super-clean or romantic place then this is not for you. If you are looking for a comfortable enough apartment that is perfectly located for exploring the city, then Antoine's place is a good bet :)
The apartment was in an awesome location, central to everything and Antoine was a great host. He was very responsive through out the process. I would definitely recommend the apartment for a short trip.
Antoine was a fabulous and patient host, and his place was in a very central and walkable location! Really great for making your way around town, and so close to the Metro. As others have noted the bathtub is small and hard to use unless you are a relatively small person, but for my short stay it was workable. Overall the place is not glamorous but clean and centrally located.

My boyfriend and I spent 4 days in Paris and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Antoine's apartment is very well-situated and fully equipped, even Wi-Fi is included. The bathroom is small but absolutely sufficient for a few days. Communicating with Antoine was easy and he's a friendly, reliable and cooperative host. Thank you, Antoine!
Merci, Antoine !
We had a great time at Antoine's place. We stayed over Christmas for 6 nights and the apartment was incredibly easy to find and well-located.
I had such a fantastic time in Paris, and I can honestly say that the location of Antoine's apartment had quite a bit to do with that! I am a huge walker, and was able to walk to dozens of museums, shops, restaurants, and sites that I had on my list within an hour. It's also close to one of the biggest subway stations in the city, so I was able to quickly access some of the things that I wanted to see that were a bit too far to reach by foot.
When you are in the apartment, though, you would hardly realize how central it is because it is SO quiet. The building is pretty old, so there are the usual drips and creaks, but you hardly hear anything else.
I think it's important to note that the bathroom is small, and the shower is low (you will need to sit down to bathe), but neither was an issue for me because I am really short. Also, the bed is in the lofted area, so there isn't much room for anything other than a mattress on the ground (it's actually really comfortable, though).
All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Antoine's place for your visit to Paris!
Great host and great location!
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It had everything we needed and more and was walking distance from several major attractions as well as being close to plenty of cool bars and cafes and shops too. Thanks Antoine.
Very central, cozy apartment with small bathroom (but not unusual for this area) - unfortunately the WiFi didn't work for the whole stay, but luckily there are cafés and restaurants across the street where we could log on.
Antoine answers really fast but we actually never met him because a friend of his gave us the keys upon arrival.
Especially nice is the little winter garden and "private court" which is attached to the apartment!
I can recommend this place for solo travelers or couples who want to see a lot of Paris and reach many places by foot.
