My stay was very pleasant and I felt welcomed by Barbara and Phil. They always had a smile on their faces. The neighborhood is great, with families and a gated community. Easy parking. My room was very clean and useful for computer work. Comfortable bed and linens. I had a great experience.
First of all, gotta thank Philip and Barbara for accommodating to our late arrival (~10:30pm). They are an extremely nice couple that have wonderful stories to tell if you happen to catch them at home. The gated neighborhood is very safe and quiet, and surrounded by trees, which makes for a great morning or afternoon walk. Geographically, it's right in the middle of Silicon Valley, so it's super convenient.
this is a great place to stay! Very comfortable. I woke up each morning to the chirping of birds...highly recommend.
My stay last weekend was excellent. The house is lovely, and my upstairs room and bathroom were clean, very comfortable, modern, well appointed and quiet. I slept very well. My hosts were gracious, intelligent and interesting people, and we had some good conversations. I could come and go as I wished. I hope their room will be available again on my next trip!
Phil and Barbara live in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood which was also close to all the places that we wanted to go to. They were very gracious hosts; even when we arrived just before 11pm due to a flight delay, they stayed up late to wait for us and called us to make sure that everything was okay.
Our room was cosy and comfortable -- a blessing after a long plane ride. Phil and Barbara made coffee for us in the morning and generally made us feel very much at ease. We'd love to stay there again.
