  • I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was super comfortable and clean, and it was great to have a private bath. I also loved the little touches she provided - snacks, water, cotton balls. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

  • My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sara in Charlottesville. She was a great host and a lovely person. Her suggestions from dinner were great, the Local is good, as well as Mas for tapas.

    Thank you, Sara.

  • Sara was a fantastic host! What a great weekend. She had everything nearly set up by the time we arrived. Amenities like shampoo and soaps with clean towels were provided as well as chocolates and water in the room. What a great surprise! We didn't see her much because we had a packed schedule, but when we did she was so nice. I would recommend my family and friends to stay with her.

  • Sara couldn't be there when we arrived but she gave us the key code to get in. The guest room and guest bathroom were labeled as such and easy to find. We brought our things in then left to go visit Monticello. We didn't meet Sara till the next morning. She showed me how to make coffee with her Keurig coffee maker and gave us an excellent dining recommendation for "after sight seeing." My only regret is that I didn't have time to use the swimming pool!

  • Very clean. Small space but very well set up. Bathroom was clean and nicely designed. Lots of pillows. Seriously appreciate the fan in the room; we normally sleep with one on for white noise at home so that was great. Best part was that we were able to come in at 1am without any problem because of the key code on the door. I don't know much about the area but a friend said this is a good part of town.

  • This was our second stay at Sara's home. The room and private bath was exactly what we expected and Sara was friendly and welcoming. We were there for the UVA graduation ceremonies and getting to/from the events was a short drive in the car. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

Hi I'm Sara! I was born and raised in Charlottesville VA and the surrounding areas, I will never leave, I love this town! I am a Project Manager by day and a CraftyDiyer by night, weekend and any free moment. I have always been creative and love learning new things everyday. If there is a new craft/hobby/DIY project out there, chances are I am going to try it. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. The most recent book I read is called Swimming Upriver: Coming of Age in Appalachia by Judy Harwood, it was really an awesome read!! I enjoy hosting people in my home, I like to think my guest are an extension of my family.
