Louisa awesome! They came to get us from the train station and brought us back. Great breakfasts, warm welcome, interactive conversation, room great. All very professional. Louisa both speaks English and knows how to work in this industry - a great combo for us!
Luisa was very sweet and helpful, especially in recommending places to eat and how to get to nearby Assisi. The accommodations were very comfortable, the room extremely spacious. Breakfast was abundant and varied.
Louisa and Behad’s Rainbow Bed and Breakfast in Bastia Umbria near Assisi is a beautiful, large room in their house with a shared bath (it was private, with a second separating door, when we stayed because the other room wasn’t occupied). Louisa put out a very nice breakfast that included a tart made from figs from her own tree, in addition to cereal, fruit, and another pastry. Without our asking, Louisa was kind enough to pick us up at the Bastia train station at 10 PM when we arrived, and Behad gave us a ride to the S.Maria Angeli church the next day. Both rides were very appreciated. Only thing to be aware of is that buses don’t run from (modern) Assisi to Bastia Umbria after 9 PM or so (although a train ran at about 11 PM). Thanks, Louisa and Behad, for your wonderful hospitality (8/29-8/31/12). Irene and Rob
Lusia was one of the best hosts we have ever had. She was extremely knowledgable about all things Italy. Particularly in the Umbria area and even Southern Italy too. Luisa was always contactable and prompt at responding to any request.
The room, house and breakfast were all absolutely fantastic; wifi was fine, location close to main attractions for Umbria, especially wineries. Bathroom great.
We felt so relaxed and at home we didnt want to leave. Would definitely stay here again and highly highly recommend it.
