The East Village is the cultural hub of NYC and this cozy flat has everything you need for a relaxing stay. You'll be surrounded by all the excitement while enjoying the lower noise levels of a side street. Only a 7 minute walk to major trains!
Thank you for visiting my listing!
I am offering a charming apartment in the middle of the East Village. This clean and comfortable space has its own private kitchen and bathroom. It is two flights up from street level with no elevator. You can check availability and pricing by entering your travel dates into this listing or by checking my calendar. You can also make your reservation instantly.
The flat is conveniently located on 6th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. It is only a 7 minute walk to the L, F, 6, N, and R trains. See below for distances to popular destinations.
The apartment consists of two rooms separated by a heavy curtain. One is a bedroom with a queen sized bed that sleeps two people comfortably. There is a twin sized futon in the main room that can sleep a third guest. The main room has the kitchen and living area as well as the bathtub and shower. Yes, that's right, the bathtub is in the same room. This seemingly unusual trait is actually common in the older buildings of the East Village and the Lower East Side. There is also a small toilet room adjacent to the living area.
The flat is equipped with everything you may need including fresh sheets and towels, toiletries, a French press, coffee and tea, cookware and flatware, iron, hair dryer, and even snacks and beer in the fridge!
There is a cafe located across the street, a grocery store and pharmacy within one block, and plenty of restaurants and bars along 1st and 2nd Ave.
The East Village is the cultural hub of New York City. It is home to countless restaurants, bars, music venues, small shops, theaters, cafes, and more. I am a native New Yorker and this is definitely my favorite neighborhood.
I wish you all safe travels and luck finding accommodations. Again, please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Didn't meet or interact with the host, but the everything was coordinated very easily and there were towels/fresh sheets, etc. The place itself isn't very nice, but the location is very good. You get what you pay for, I guess, but the unexpected loud noise coming through the thin walls was a pain to deal with. The tub is in the middle of the kitchen/living room area, which is a bit off putting, and I couldn't figure out where the heat was.
Overall: if you are looking to save money and want a good location, this will deliver. If you are easily put off by low quality surroundings, noise at night, etc, then you should look for somewhere else.
Great, convenient, clean - everything I needed was here! And the bed was super comfy! Definitely will want to stay here next time I'm in town!
Willson was super nice, easy to get in touch with, everything went super smoothly with check in/out, communication etc- I needed to stay an extra day and since it was free, he was able to accommodate. Great, convenient, clean - everything I needed was here! And the bed was super comfy! Definitely will want to stay here next time I'm in town!
Picked this place because of the many positive reviews, location and price! The host was very flexible and responsive to questions I had. It is an older apartment but very clean.
Willson was super responsive and a great host. The flat's location, setup and amenities (Willson actually restocked the fridge with beer after our arrival!) made the place totally memorable, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting NYC and wanting to hang out in the East Village.
This place was great! Convenient location, cozy and clean, and lots of nice amenities like a fridge stocked with juice, breakfast supplies, etc. the host left really simple instructions for checking in/out and was easy to communicate with. The bathtub/shower in the quarters was really luxurious and the bedroom was tucked away and made for a great night's rest. Thanks, Wilson !!
I'm a Native New Yorker, I needed to rent Wilson's apartment for a day while my apartment was being renovated. He was super accommodating since I booked everything in under 48Hrs. His responses were punctual and detailed. He is the type of host you look for when you are traveling. He had everything you look for in a hotel: Blow Dryer, Iron, Extra Pillows, Extra blankets and Extra Towels.
Now onto the apartment. I'll say It was a nostalgic feeling walking through the first set of doors. It felt like New York, the old New York which has been missing since the new generation. When I finally made it up stairs and opened the doors, it felt as if I was in an old Woody Allen film. If you're a writer looking for inspiration without serenity this is the place for you. The active and boisterous environment did tread on my nerves from time to time. during the night hours but overall great experience.
Great experience. Really appreciated all of the little things at the apartment that travelers usually don't/can't bring with them- Blow dryer, towels, kitchen accessories, etc. Would definitely visit again
Great host and great place except for the shower in the living room kitchen area.
