Atop a low mountain along Hwy 7N amidst Ouachita Mountains stands our two-level home where we live on the upper level.
B&B area is a pleasant lower-level, 1400-sf walkout apartment with a separate, convenient entrance.
Beautiful views abound and modern facilities await, including Internet access.

The space
Spacious, comfortable, lower level apartment — with kitchen, two bedrooms (queen-size beds), bath, and open living/dining room — has separate outside entrance with digital keypad. Furnished patio has a grill, table and chairs, patio chairs and glider. The lower level apartment can be accessed through exterior or interior stairs. Children five-years-old and under are free.
Sorry, no unregistered guests are allowed on property without prior arrangement with host.

Guest access
BREAKFAST, family-style, is provided each morning. Also, fully-equipped kitchen in the suite (except oven) is available for guest preparation of other meals. Use of upstairs oven is permitted.

Other things to note
We provide a list to registered guests of recommended sites to visit and of restaurants. Hot Springs, with its spas, historic downtown sites and Oaklawn horse racing, is about 16 miles south of our home (about a half hour's drive). Walking trails abound in our area, as is free access to Ouachita State Park. Lake Ouachita is about 10 miles west. Hot Springs Village is two miles away.

Mel and Lynette are native Nebraska Cornhuskers who retired early from careers of more than 30 years and were happily transplanted to beautiful Arkansas in 2003. We enjoyed working another five years in the Hot Springs Village area, and then we retired again. Now our continuing labor of love is in preparing our beloved Montclair so friends, family, travelers and visitors to the Natural State can enjoy the beauty and serenity of this scenic oasis we are so very privileged to call home.
