Adriana casa vacanze was created from my interest in wanting to let people get to know my land, Sicily, with a thousand different colours, unique sceneries, and where the sea and the mountain are an integrated part of everyday life. The vacation homes are situated near the sea in Stazzo, a small touristic town near Acireale (Catania), just a twenty minute drive to the beautiful Taormina Beaches and to the mountain destinations on Etna.
Hi there, here my villa 160 walking distance by the sea, the one that you see on the pictures. The villa has three floors new and I like to keep it comfortable and clean with as much services as possible.
There are four bathrooms, four kithens, four bedrooms, two private parking, one big terrace view vulcan Etna.
The place is situated in Stazzo, a little village pretty close to Acireale, where you can find a railway station or bus station from where to get mostly any place all around Italy and Sicily.
Because in the middle of the east cost of Sicily the the apartment is pretty close to mostly the main city, the farest one is Palermo 3,5 hours by car, in the other coast of the island, but in less than an hour you may find: Taormina and Catania; 1,5 hour Siracura, Ragusa and Noto. Beach and montain (the active volcano, Etna, is 50 minutes far by car) are close and I really suggest you to visit.
I like to share my Sicily, as I know, from food to the way how we live, our history and of course I would like to meet you and you backbag ;)
Sicily is the biggest island in the Mediterranean, separated from the Italy peninsula by the strait of Messina, and we have many villas in Sicily for your perusal, including several luxury villas. The villas in our Sicily vacation rentals collection are in the most beautiful positions to enable you to experience this unique place to the full. We also have several nice Taormina apartments perfect for discovering this world-famous sicilian town. Our Sicily villas are favoured with temperate weather all year round.

The east coast of Sicily is dominated by the presence of Mount Etna, the volcano that has always conditioned and molded the contours of the landscape and the weather conditions of the whole stretch of coast from Catania to Taormina, where you can follow a procession of attractive villages lying on the coast of black lava. Acireale, in a wonderful position, with the hill sloping gently down to the sea through olive trees and colorful lemon groves. Behind the villa rises the imposing shape of Mount Etna. The holiday house , inside its own grounds with typical Mediterranean flora, and has large terraces with a view of the volcano Etna . The furnishings of the large terrace where you can eating. The house has air conditioning in the bedrooms. Stazzo with its lava coast is about 100 metres from Adriana holiday house and the free-access beaches are about 25 km away towards Taormina. There are several typical coastal villages within a few minutes drive, such as Acicastello, Acitrezza and Santa Tecia, where in addition to the natural beauty of the area you will also find several restaurants that prepare the excellent Sicilian cooking based on fish and vegetables. Catania, with its beautiful baroque town center, is about 20 km away and Taormina about 25km
WOW! We loved ever minute of our stay at Resort Torre mare. The family welcomed us and made us feel like part of their family and made sure we had everything we needed. They offered to take us to the market and gave suggestions on where to dine. The Villa was so beautiful and every room was large and spacious. We stayed in a separate part of their home so it was completely Private. The bedrooms were separated so we all had lots of privacy. We had internet and also HD Televisions in each room. We kept the doors/windows open so you could feel a breeze through the house.
The bathrooms were beautiful as well. The towels were like a spa. The pool was amazing as well. We dove off of a huge Lava Rock into the very deep and luxurious pool. We spent time on the roof looking at Mt Etna in one direction and the Blue water of the ocean in another. We took day trips each day and the Villa was centrally located.
We could have stayed a month and not seen everything. Truth being it was really hard to leave the Villa each day as it is so Amazing! There is an orchard that surround the Villa so we could pick fresh fruit in the morning. Dolce and SiSi stole our hearts and we will never be the same.
If you are looking for the perfect vacation and want to feel like you are living in a Fairy Tale then this is where you want to stay. We travelled with our family from the United States and it was worth every penny we spent on Air Fare. Each morning we had Breakfast by the Pool and planned our day.
We had a rental car and there was always a place to park. The Villa is gated so we felt same and secure. We cooked dinner at the Villa several nights and we had everything we could need. When we arrived the refrigerator was stocked with goodies and there was fresh coffee. We have traveled a lot as I was a Flight Attendant and this Villa is the most perfect place we have ever visited. The memories we made will last a lifetime.
Appartement agréable , manquait la clim . Bien situé
Sadly Adriana told me just one week befor our arrival, that it was not possible to use the flat due to any reason I still do not now. At least she helped organising a bed and breakfast, which we really enjoyed!
Overall, I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxed family type holiday. The strongest selling points of the venue are:
1) Fantastic views from the house (on Etna and on the seaside) which is also surrounded by the lemon and olive trees. The territory around the house is very well looked after;
2)The hospitality of the owners (Vera and her husband) and relative proximity to Riposto village where you can explore local fish and fruit markets and get fantastic bread from the local bakeries.
I would strongly recommend renting a car to get around (beware of the narrow roads and Sicilian driving style). Also, be prepared that Etna can erupt (that what happenned when we have arrived) and, as a result, you might not be able to enjy the swimming pool...
We were 9 in the apartment, so we used all the space especially for the only bathroom, but the apartment is nice and we really enjoyed it! The setting is great, and the sea is close to the appartment! From the terrace you have a view of the volcano, and a part of the sea, it's magic. Adriana was very friendly and available, which was nice in order to enjoy our holidays!
Nice and comfortable apartment in little Stazzo, close to Acireale. We really enjoyed our stay! We highly recommend to rent a car to explore the area and the beaches nearby. Thanks Adriana for your hospitality and recommendations!
Adriana was awesome - she helped with directions, public transport, cabs, told me how to get around and pretty much answered any question I had. The house was perfect, super clean, spacious, brand new kitchen and bathroom, and there was air conditioning in the bedroom. The terrace was huge and has a beautiful view of Mt, Etna. Word of warning though, if your not up for getting buses or trains you'll need to rent a car. The house is a 20 minute train ride to Taormina (if you get an express train) and you must make the journey here as the beaches are to die for. It's a 10 minute train to Catania as well. If you want a quiet holiday, with beautiful views and really get a feel for the sicilian lifestyle, definitely stay here. it's a beautiful place. Thankyou Adriana! :)
We had a very good time. Five of us - two couples and a 2 year old toddler. Reception happened smoothly all was ready for our arrival with nice finishing touches of fruits, ground coffee and wine.
It was great for everybody. The apartment, which is a top half of an old nice town house has a plenty of space. All had their rooms - including the baby - and there were still some rooms left.
Once the youngest one was asleep there is an amazing rooftop terrace with a great view and an evening breeze where we had late dinners. This, we all thought, was the selling point of the place.
The apartment is in the center of Aci Castello, close to grocery stores, a bakery, pharmacies and banks. All you need is literally around a corner. Also a parking a car was not an issue, as there seemed to be just enough parking spots in the vicinity.
Adriana has been nothing short of fantastic:
- We waited until 1AM because we got lost along the way from the airport. - She gave us coffee and biscuits for breakfast
- She gave us fantastic organic lemons
- She advised us where to eat and what to visit (at 1am too)
- The house is beautiful and you can see smoking Etna from the terrace
