Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • The hub is a nice and large house. Our room was cosy and clean with a good shower. Breakfast was basic but good. Nice and friendly people that work there. The hub is good value for money!

  • Our room at the Hub was very clean, comfortable and pleasant, the breakfast was good and the guys who run the Hub were friendly. The place is a bit hard to get to, so it's best to use the directions provided for any taxi drivers.

    October 2013
  • Very reasonable price, nice clean private room and bathroom, warm quilts and nice pillows, an extremely firm mattress (a little TOO firm for our old bones!). The place was a little hard to find (street names aren't used much in Kathmandu!) but in order to find our way back each night, we just had the taxi driver call them for directions. Taxis were always available by the vegetable stand just round the corner.. The family members we met were very nice, and offered food and brought us lots of tea and drinking water..

I have a volunteer organization called Volunteer for Change (VFC) and every year lots of foreign students come to do their internship with me for Schools, HIV/AIDS affected children, Environment, community work etc. When there are no students or volunteers at our platform 'The Hub' then we rent it to other tourists to make the organization self sustainable. My motto for life is to volunteer for the needy ones when needed. "DO WELL DO GOOD!
