About this listing
The studio is located at the second floor of an old building in the very city centre. The interior of the studio, though, is modern style and it is fully furnished. Perfect position for sightseeing: the studio is located less than 5 minutes walking from the main places of interest of t he city, namely, Piazza del plebiscito, the Royal Palace, The San Carlo Opera House and Galleria Umberto Primo. Very well connected from public transports: 50 meters from Funicolare and 300 meters from the subway station. 10 minutes from the harbour where boats for the islands (Capri, Ischia, Procida) and the Amalfi coast depart every hour.
At your arrival you will find the bed made with clean sheets and the bathroom stocked with clean towels.
There is NO TV in the studio and the stairs could be dusty at times because the interior of the building is under renovation.
I would like to give a positive evaluation of Max's apartment because certainly it is cheap and incredibly well situated, close to everything, just at the beginning of the painteresque Spanish neighbourhood (one of the "musts" of Napoli).
But sadly I cannot. The owner didn't take care of his place at all... there are not the minimum conditions you can expect on arrival, no toilet paper, not a bottle of water (with 38 degrees!), old furnitures several of them broken (seats and fridge), one glass and one broken cup, no coffee machine, very weird for an Italian apparent (not to talk of some coffee).
I hope Max will take care of the apartment in the future because the city is very charming and you could really enjoy staying there.
The location of the apartment was perfect, end the instructions Massimiliano gave us where good, his restaurant where we can pickup the key was easy to find. Then our way to the apartment with one of his employee's, that was a bit quit but also ok. But then the apartment, it wasn't cleaned, and we were sure about that because the keys of the previous visitors where still on the table. Then the utensils/cookware all needed to be rewashed and there was no toilet paper. Some parts of the bed were broken en the shower was cold most of the time. All things we could live with and wouldn't mention if this was everything. But the second time we want to enter the house, the key wouldn't open the door at the street. 2 times we came in by ringing somebody else's bell at the complex. The 3th time nobody opened, so we called Massimiliano. First no answer, but then i get Massimiliano on the phone and there was somebody in 10 minutes so that was nice, but not with a decent solution. He showed us a way to get the door open, a way that costed himself some time as well, when we try to open the door ourself again it wouldn't open again. But he had no other solution and couldn't speak any language but Italian so we had to live with it. I text Massimiliano if we could call again when we left the apartment, no answer. Also on the last day when we liked to ask where we leave the keys, no answer. At last we spoke to somebody out of the restaurant and left the key at the table. Never heard something of Massimiliano anymore. Gentle and not expecting much as i and my girlfriend where i can be sure not recommend the apartment to other people.
We did not actually stay at Massimiliano's place because the person who took us to the place could not get in the door due to lock issues.
Location veramente comodissima.
Table beaucoup trop haute par rapport au siège, impossible d'y manger, chaise cassé.
We had a nice stay in Napoli. We didnt met Massimiliano, but we got the keys easily and the appartment was close enough to get to touristical points like the old city.
