The Space

The studio is located at the second floor of an old building in the very city centre. The interior of the studio, though, is modern style and it is fully furnished. Perfect position for sightseeing: the studio is located less than 5 minutes walking from the main places of interest of t he city, namely, Piazza del plebiscito, the Royal Palace, The San Carlo Opera House and Galleria Umberto Primo. Very well connected from public transports: 50 meters from Funicolare and 300 meters from the subway station. 10 minutes from the harbour where boats for the islands (Capri, Ischia, Procida) and the Amalfi coast depart every hour.
At your arrival you will find the bed made with clean sheets and the bathroom stocked with clean towels.
There is NO TV in the studio

  • The appartment is well located in the city centre of Naples and there was a bottle of water in the fridge for us on our arrival but thats about the only positive points there are to it. The floor of the room hadn't been cleaned before our arrival despite the 20 euros cleaning fee, the bedsheets had holes in it and dodgy stains. The mattresswasn't very comfortable. The towels were really small and didn't smell clean.
The bathroom is tiny with no ventilation and no cupboard to store anything. The water cubicle is hardly big enough to take one shower after the other.
It is very hot and humid inside the appartment despite the fan. In addition, there is a sewer's smell in the bathroom.

  • The apartment is pretty much as you see on the photos. Very sparsely furnished but comfortable enough for a short stay. It is in a great location with the ferries about 10 minutes away and the main part of town is just round the corner.
However, check-in was not a very smooth process. We arrived at Massimiliano's restaurant after being unable to get hold of him by email to try and pick up the keys. After a few phone calls we were taken by one of the restaurant staff to the apartment but then were asked to wait another hour while the apartment was cleaned before we were allowed into it properly. This wasn't too much of an inconvenience, but I would suggest that if the stated check in time is at 2pm then the apartment really should be available for that time.
There was also building work being carried out at the time but other than a large amount of dust everywhere outside it didn't make that much difference.

  • The flat is very well located, in the very center of the city. Everything is accessible by walking. It is furnished with just enough, it was just to sleep, not to cook for us.
True that there is a lot of noise, especially because the big window doesn't fully close. Note that the door to the bathroom is a glass, I am not fan of this fact :) but well, it was clean and all clear, even if the construction of the facade created a lot of dust.
    Nice stay!

  • Massimiliano's place was nice as per in the photos and location was great, 3 minutes walk to the shopping area and 10 minutes for the ferry to Capri island. We were met by his staff, a pleasant and helpful guy. Unfortunately, due to language barrier, we couldn't understand his introduction to the city. And didn't get to meet Massimiliano at all. There were maps available in the place. One word of caution, the apartment block is undergoing renovation on the exterior and it can be a little dusty, plus the view from the balcony is sadly not sightly during this time. And his apartment is on the 4th storey with no lift. Overall, Naples was a nice city.

  • The studio is very central. To feel the life in the city. very well. Simple. In the summer safely cool. Now more moist. All together simple and nice.

  • This place was centrally located as promised. I didnt realize however, that there are no ammenities. No wifi, no washer, no blowdryer. The place was going through some construction outside. Did not meet max. However someone came out of the restaurant to walk us to the apt. Not sure who. She didnt really speak english. A little humid, but the place was clean.

  • We (my girlfriend and me) have been in Massimiliano's flat for 2 days.

We could arrive earlier and Massimiliano and his colleague at his restaurant where ok to leave us the keys earlier, thank you for that.

The flat is very well positioned, close to :
    - the funicular station
    - Via Toledo (commercial street)
    - 10mn from the boat (to Capri)

The flat was OK. Not enough warm water to take 2 showers but it was OK for us.
There was a facade cleaning which was not a problem for us, we were at the flat only during the evening / night.
