The surrounding desert and mountains provide the best in just plain relaxing and sight seeing or taking advantage of some of the finest and most invigorating hiking and exploring available.

Within a few minutes drive you will find multiple world class golf courses (there are 130 in the coachella valley); the indian wells tennis garden, and the world famous empire polo grounds close by in indio, california. Old town la quinta is a great setting for restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, casinos and much more only minutes away.
