About this listing
The apartment is on the first floor of a building of the '20s, right on the border between the districts of Trastevere and Testaccio. In the immediate area there are supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pizzerias, pharmacies and free parking.
Situated in an historical building of 1926, near the river Tevere, the flat is exactly between two very central districts: Trastevere and Testaccio.
You can find public transports just out of the door! The streetcar number 8 reaches Piazza Venezia in few minutes; busses 170, 719 and 718 bring you to central station, to the closer subway stop of Piramide and to Piazza Venezia; in five minutes walking you can get to Trastevere Station where trains to and from Fiumicino Airport and St. Peter's Cathedral stop every 15 minutes.
In the neighborhood you can find everything you need in few steps: supermarkets, cafes, pharmacies, restaurants, pizza, beer house... and, exactly behind the building, every sunday, there's the most popular and old market of Rome: Porta Portese.
The very good thing is that the apartment is in a secondary, very quiet street.
The flat is cute and newly renovated. It's composed by a lounge with a very comfortable double sofa bed, a bedroom with a queen size bed, a lightful dining kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub and a lovely garden with a lemon tree! If you need an extra bed, there's a mattress on a little loft approachable by an handy retractable stair, but I also can put it in the bedroom. A baby bed is available too.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for any request.

Iiaria s apartment is very close to
The old town of Rome.... Nice local neighborhood.....
This was our second stay. The flat was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the location. We hope the flat, with awesome terrazzo, will be available on our next trip to the Eternal City. Regards to Carla, we miss her
We didnt get to meet IIaria when we arrived but she was usually very quick to respond. There are a couple things that could be improved. Like with the wifi, it is at a great speed and has ease of use but we didn't know that there was a limit to the usage and went over it on our very last day of stay and couldn't really find routes and schedules for our next journey which is quite frustrating until the very next morning. So a little message/instructions about wifi on arrival would have been helpful and saved us some grief. Also, the heater switch for the hot water is located with light switches out of the bathroom which can be easily mistaken for another light switch. It was an easy mistake to turn it off and so we didnt have hot water to shower when we returned late at night on our last night as well. So it was very unpleasant to not be able to shower before we go to bed especially when Rome was quite hot and as we had to leave early to the airport so we couldn't recover it in time to use it. So it was in that quite an unpleasant night. So again a little note or adequate explanation upon arrival would have been helpful. We were also given what seemed to be table cloths and quite a generous amount of tea towels in the bathroom, all nicely rolled and presented as I presumed to be in place for normal towels for shower which was a little weird and we couldn't find the laundry cupboard to swap it out so it was a very different experience. The tv probably works but there was no available power socket to plug into hence we couldn't really test it. The bed was fine but the pillows were quite lumpy like its either an old pillow or they have washed them incorrectly and so it was quite uncomfortable. Another issue was the address and location. Make sure you take note of the invoice supplied address and go with that. IIaria provided two sets of repeated instructions on how to arrive at the property. Both sets of instructions were erroneous and directed us to the wrong address. Rather than follow the invoice address we thought that the instructions to the home would be the accurate way to get there. It took us an extra 1 hour to find the place (after alot of doorknocking). Hence we had to pay a late fee for collecting the keys later than planned. This seems unfair as the owner supplied instructions were later admitted to be erroneous by the owner. Otherwise the place is quite a pleasant place to stay at but if you attract mosquitoes easily, I would not recommend this place during summer as I had quite a few bites. The place was quite convenient to reach if you had the right address and is easily walkable to the centre...
The apartment is spacious and charming in a quiet residential area that is well connected by public transportation (tram, buses and taxis all around). The small garden is a nice plus, we enjoyed our breakfast outside every morning! :) The wi-fi works perfectly. Ilaria is always quick to answer any questions, and although we didn’t get the chance to meet her, we were met by her colleague Gustavo, with whom everything went very smoothly. Thank you for a nice weekend stay in Rome!
Great Location and we'll equipped apartment. Ilaria was king enough to explain everything.
The appartment is quite nice and ok equipped, wifi was working well too. The view from the windows is not the most beautiful, but the neighborhood is quiet and safe. All in all good stay, maybe a little bit expensive given the location.
Illarias apartment was perfect for us- family with two kids - enough space, clean and light and quiet and not far from stazione Trastevere and a lovely cat in the nice yard - the perfect place to feel at home in Rome! and well organized by the host!
