Situated in an historical building of 1926, near the river Tevere, the flat is exactly between two very central districts: Trastevere and Testaccio.
You can find public transports just out of the door! The streetcar number 8 reaches Piazza Venezia in few minutes; busses 170, 719 and 718 bring you to central station, to the closer subway stop of Piramide and to Piazza Venezia; in five minutes walking you can get to Trastevere Station where trains to and from Fiumicino Airport and St. Peter's Cathedral stop every 15 minutes.
In the neighborhood you can find everything you need in few steps: supermarkets, cafes, pharmacies, restaurants, pizza, beer house... and, exactly behind the building, every sunday, there's the most popular and old market of Rome: Porta Portese.
The very good thing is that the apartment is in a secondary, very quiet street.
The flat is cute and newly renovated. It's composed by a lounge with a very comfortable double sofa bed, a bedroom with a queen size bed, a lightful dining kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub and a lovely garden with a lemon tree! If you need an extra bed, there's a mattress on a little loft approachable by an handy retractable stair, but I also can put it in the bedroom. A baby bed is available too.
If you reserve two weeks or more you'll pay no extra charge for third, fourth and fifth person. Write me about it.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for any request.

On a duty mission in Rome, I stayed in Carla's apartment for nearly three weeks and enjoyed it immensely. The flat itself is very sweet, spacious, charming and fully renovated. In fact it could accommodate 2 couples and 1 or 2 children. The mini-garden was a huge plus (to relax after a long day of work). Bed very comfortable. Wi-fi working perfectly. The flat is not located in the most glamorous (and noisiest) part of Trastevere, yet it is conveniently located near the Trastevere train station (direct to airport), with quick access to tram, buses and taxis all around. You can even, like I did, walk to the historical centre of Rome from there. For me this was ideal. Carla was simply adorable, responding within minutes to any of my questions. If i enjoyed this flat in rainy cold winter, you will certainly love it in spring and summer.
I and my family spent 8 nights in Carla apartment. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. It's suitable for travelers with kids. There is good connection with historical center and Vatican. The way to Piazza Venezia takes 20 min. by tram#8/bus#170, to Vatican 10 min. by train F3 in direction of Viterbo. The bus/tram stops and Trastevere train station are in a few min. by walking. Carla is helpful and cordial person. We were happy in her place. Carla, thank you very much! And welcome to S-Petersburg!
Carla's apartment is comfortable and cosy. It's very convenient to Trastevere Station (easy commute from FCO airport) and the #8 tram (which goes right to the historic center). Also not to be missed, the amazing Porta Portese flea market on Sundays, which is literally around the corner. Although we did not have the chance to meet Carla, we were met by her kind friend Andrea. Everything went smoothly as Carla is a very conscientious communicator. Thanks for a happy and memorable stay in Rome!
Nice appartment, good place to discover Rome!
Carla was very helpfull.
We had a wonderful stay in Rome and Carla`s apartment suited us perfectly.
Lovely furnishings, comfortable bed, convenient kitchen, ample room, oasis like patio with lime trees, safe neighborhood with a number of restaurants nearby.
The bus and tram were a couple of blocks away therefore getting to the Coliseum, Forum etc. was easy and quick. We even walked home from this area one afternoon and it took about a 1/2 hour.
We can`t thank Carla enough for working with us to make our visit to Rome so memorable.
We would definitely stay there again.
This house is spacious and comfortable! The garden is very cute!
The kitchen is very well equipped. The house was an enjoyable place for us to stay while we did some hectic site seeing in Rome for several days. We walked to the major attractions - 40-50mins one way to the coliseum for example. But there is a train station and tram line nearby that could be used.
Unfortunately there didn't seem to be enough hot water for all three of us to have hot showers, but Carla didn't seem to think was normal. Bring your mosquito repellent if you are staying when it is hot!
Carla met us upon arrival and she was very helpful. The area around the house is lovely - there are many places to eat/drink around the corner as well as a super market. You should know this is not a touristy area, but more of an authentic Rome experience!
Our stay in Rome was great. The apartment was located in a non-touristy part of Trastevere which was nice and quiet. The apartment itself was as described, we had an issue with hot water/plumbing but these issues were sorted out promtly by the host.
Carla is a great host! Attentive, careful person who makes your stay perfect. The apartment she offers is so comfortable, clean and beautiful that you will have very good rest and feel yourself like at home. There is everything that you can need. It has a very convenient location close to all the sights. This charming yard with a lemon tree deserves a special praise.
Thank you, Carla for your help and hospitality. We really appreciated it!
Stayed for a week at Carla's apartment. Carla and her husband were very helpful and checked in with us to make sure everything was going ok and provided local information of where to eat, shops etc.
The apartment was lovely and as described, in a nice location right next to an amazing flea market (held every Sunday) and was ideally located for the train station and tram stops.
