A group of 10 of us stayed at this amazing sprawling farmhouse in Stowe, VT. Stephanie was wonderfully accommodating, and gave us great instruction and guidance on the place. There was even a folder about the quirks of the house, and a guide to Stowe itself, with personal recommendations!! As soon as we walked in and saw the amazing kitchen accompanied by a beautiful jade plant, and a Buddha head we knew we were in the right place! There was a great mud room, where we could put our ski stuff and shoes when we came in at night. The wood stove was blissful for warming our bones and our ski clothes! There was plenty of comfortable beds, and 3 bathrooms so no one was ever waiting. There was even a couple TVs for us to catch a movie or play some Wii after a cold day on the mountain. Despite the rain, we had a great time here for 5 days, relaxing and getting to know the Stowe area better and all it has to offer; that being said, the locals are awesome - there's a ton of great restaurants as well. All in all, my friends and I had a wonderful time at Stephanie's beautiful renovated sprawling farmhouse and she was a pleasure to deal with.
