By day, during the summer, the apartment is cool and comfortable, but as the balcony faces north-west, as the evening draws near and the sun begins to shine through its windows, you will be treated to a front row seat for the legendary Ibiza sunset. You also get to bathe in the morning sun for much of the summertime, with a view of sunrise to the east.
The community pool is in a secure area, has plenty of sun-beds at your disposal and has a child-friendly area.
The apartment is located three minutes walk from the beautiful family beach of Port des Torrent, on Ibiza's west coast, a short distance from San Antonio. With stunning views of the sunset, a perfect place for walks along the coast and through the local forests, and close proximity to all amenities.
There's a diving centre which holds a Balearic Governmental certificate for those who love to get underwater, and at Cala Bassa there is a wide range of water-sports activities. It is a few minutes walk from Port des Torrent beach.
Bassa, Cala Comte and Cala Tarida are the nearest beaches and we invite you to explore them as well. For more adventure, glass-bottomed ferries leave from the beach's marina to San Antonio, Cala Comte and Cala Tarida. It's even possible to sail across to Formentera to take in the views of the Mediterranean.
Restaurants and shopping
Nearby there are a selection of family restaurants, cafes and shops. A short walk away is Es Cuco - a renowned local supermarket that is open all year round, and stocks a vast selection of quality products including local meats and vegetables, and also local and international newspapers.

A bus stop right outside the apartment can take you to and from the airport, into Ibiza Town, San Jose, San Antonio and beaches such as Cala Comte and Cala Tarida. From these central bus stations, you can catch connections to every corner of the island. If you prefer to travel by car, there is ample free parking, and it is an area where you can easily hail or direct a taxi. An hourly night bus from San Antonio is available from June until October, so you can enjoy your night out and still get home safely. Car rental shops are also available nearby.
Port des Torrent is a residential area, away from the buzzing party streets of San Antonio bay, but only a 10 minute walk or short bus ride from the action.
There are many beautiful walks and beaches nearby, so throw away your map and... Go Explore!

Interaction with Guests
I work full time but I am happy to help any guests with finding their way around, I have lived in Ibiza for 7 years, so although I probably can't be a tour guide, I can certainly help.
Port des Torrent is a beautiful enclave, on the west coast of Ibiza. It is busy enough in the summer to entertain most, and has excellent transport links to the main towns. I love the fact it is only a short distance to the countryside, but no so far that it's isolated.
Yes, plenty. Buses run to San Antonio, all local beaches, Ibiza Town and the airport.

We had a good time staying at the batchelor pad in Port De Torrentes. It was everything we expected for the price we paid. The flat was clean and tidy and the balcony was definitely the best place to spend the time when not in the pool. Ian was very friendly and contactable and sorted out things like missing power lead for the TV very quickly. I really enjoyed flicking through the books that Ian had left there.
The area was good with a sandy beach with loungers or pedalos for hire and restaurants around just 10mins walk. Or there are buses to the more interesting beaches in Cala Terida or the very beautiful Cala Bosa. Cala Tarida had bigger surf and Calla Bosa was like a beautiful Lagoon where people were feeding the fish with bread like we feed the ducks back home! Beware though don't try to touch them as they have sharp spines as my son found out! We actually found that for a family of 4 it was cheaper to get a taxi there and back then to get the bus!
A short walk or couple of stops on the bus there is a really good super market Es Cuco - a must if you do want to cook at home. But right outside the flat there is a row of shops including a grocery store where you can get fresh bread or pastries in the morning and some fresh fruit and veg as well as essentials that you might have forgotten from home and even club tickets too. Cafe Orion does very reasonable food and actually really great steak and the owner speaks enough English to get by.
There is plenty of chance to get to know other people and families staying in the apartments while you all sit around the pool but it also wasn't crowded at all and had a shallow bit sectioned off for toddlers.
The main town is accessible by bus or taxi for more selection of shops and restaurants and pre-club venues as well as the famous Cafe Del Mar on the sunset strip. There are plenty of activities you can do from here - speed boats/diving/ party boats. There is a main bus station in town and several of the clubs offer free buses that go from there . Main clubs start late! 12/1 am until 6-8am. Drinks there are really expensive 10 euros for beer or water so make sure you take your bank card! Outside events are earier as they have to finish at midnight - from 4-6pm.
We hired a car for a few days to see a bit more of the island but scooter hire is also very popular here.
