A lovely and very spacious home-likely apartment within 2 minutes from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain offers you a relaxing but a real roman holiday!
This lovely and confortable apartment, is located in via Sistina just in front of the famous theatre Sistina, and also a few steps from the Trinità dei Monti and Spanish steps ( 300 meters). The location is perfect to go walking in the most important sites of Rome, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Barberini, Via Veneto and Dolce Vita, Via Condotti with famous shops. The apartment is located in an ancient ‘800th century building very elegant and quiet. It is at the four floor with elevator and is composed by: a dining room with table seats and confortable double sofa bed, one bedroom with king size bed, one bathroom with shower and fully equiped kitchen. All rooms have large Windows overlooking on the roofs of Rome, and Via Sistina. The apartment can ospitate 4 people or 5 with an extra bed.
The apartment was exactly as described, large and comfortable. Kitchen small but everything you need. It was spotlessly clean. Luca allowed us to arrive a little early to the apartment. Which was appreciated. The apartment was on the forth floor but had a lift, small but perfectly formed.
Neighborhood was busy during the day, but was quiet at night. We slept really well. Lots of restaurants around the area, but many are touristy, worth walking a little bit away to get nicer and cheaper restaurants, there is a very small store over the road for milk bread etc, but it's not cheap.
the apartment is very well placed for the metro, and buses. easy to find your way around. Very close to the Spanish Steps and the Villa Borghese park. A lovely pretty park with the Gallery Borghese. If you only visit one thing in Rome go to the Gallery Borghese, it has the most stunning collection of art I've ever seen.
book ahead. The cine cafe in the park is medium priced great to sit outside on a sunny day, and maybe hire a mad sort of tandem bike. Great fun. Great apartment, great location.
visiting Rome, is fantastic, but it pays to do your homework before you go.
L'appartamento è in un bel palazzo d'epoca di fronte al teatro Sistina. Da lì si è a due passi da tutto. L'appartamento è spazioso e comodo. Complessivamente e stata una esperienza molto positiva
We were very professionally welcomed and Apartment was as description and in a very good central location. Many thanks.
We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is spacious, comfortable and in great condition. The location is very convenient, with lots of shops, attractions and restaurants all within walking distance. Check-in was very easy and we didn't have any problems during our visit.
We stayed for 3 nights recently and found the apartment to be spacious and light and in a great location near the steps and Barbarini metro station. We never met Luca but his assistant Petra was very patient when we were late arriving due to our navigating issues when dropping our hire car back to Rome airport. It was great to have a washing machine and lots of space to hang out clothes to dry. The kitchen was handy for making basic breakfasts etc but probably wasn't that well equipped if we'd wanted to cook dinner and some of the pots were a bit dirty. The bathroom was spacious but the shower had poor drainage which meant you were standing in a pool of water almost immediately. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.
This is simply a beautiful spacious air conditioned 1 bed room apartment in one of the best positions in Rome. It is 200 metres to Barberini Metro which connects you to Rome's central rail station Termini. It also connects to most of the major sights in Rome. A small supermarket lies diagonally across the road and a larger one only about 500 metres away. It has wall to wall restaurants all around you most which will also do take-away. For such a central area so close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain it is relatively quiet in the apartment. The photos of this apartment on airbnb are completely accurate.
The apartment is in a beautiful old building and has a most delightful antique lift which works perfectly. Apart from the main bedroom it has a very comfortable fold up bed. The bathroom and kitchen are both very good and there is plenty of storage space throughout the apartment.
We were greeted with great friendliness and had easy contact with Petra during our 5 day stay. We had only one problem and that was fixed within a few hours and related to the hot water. Wi-Fi reception is extremely good.Check out was easy. A major advantage of this apartment is its proximity to Termini Rail which is ideal for one day excursions to other Italian cities such as Florence(One and a half hours). One tip. do your rail bookings online as Termini can be chaotic at times. Also buy Metro tickets at the News vendor on or above the station. All in all a delightful experience and for me Lucas apartment is now the benchmark for airbnb stays. Also we felt very safe in this apartment an important consideration in big cities, especially for older people. Thank you Luca and Petra and all who helped us. We appreciated it very much. Good luck along the path of life. Best regards, Thomas and Patricia Boyle
Awesome location and apartment. 2 mins from the Metro station. It had a lift, excellent air con, very spacious, rooftop views across the street and even a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival. It felt like home, check in and out was super easy with a tourist map on the table and a quick explanation of where we are and surrounding areas to visit. Luca organised airport transfer on check out that was deluxe and reasonably priced - low stress. The building is super quiet and is a perfect location to everything minus the hustle and bustle. Definitely stay again when in Rome. Thanks.
