Will's directions were very clear and helpful. The location of the apartment is great, slightly away from the busy areas, but we were able to easily reach Tokyo station, Tsukiji market, Ginza and Imperial Palace on foot. The apartment is tiny but comfortable for two persons with little luggage and has everything a traveller might need. Portable wifi is a brilliant idea, we used it a lot as Tokyo tends to not have free wifi available in restaurants and other public areas. Overall, a great experience
Perfect location, and exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I took our two year old to Tokyo Disneyland, and wanted an inexpensive place with easy train access to both Tokyo Station and Disneyland. It was clean and quiet, and fit the three of us well. Will did a great job providing detailed directions on how to find the place, and checked in on us while we were there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- Will's communication has been nothing but excellent throughout our stay. The apartment wasn't the easiest to find, but the directions given were spot on
- Located between 3 stations/lines gives added flexibility
- bathroom (made of fibreglass) is really really small. You literally could not swivel or turn in the shower without touching a wall or the shower curtain.
-room is clean with everything you need. Pretty much reminds me of my dorm in University, quite a throwback.
- if you're with large luggage and when arriving from Takaracho station, take the A8 exit that has a lift. You'll be glad u did. However when departing, A8 does not allow access back into the station. So you'll have the lug your stuff back down the long flight of stairs at A1
Very grateful for the precise transport and walking directions provided by Will - it made looking for the place a breeze when it could have gone a lot worse.
The flat was tiny, compact but cosy. My parents shared the bed whilst I slept on the mattress. Though I'd highlight that the said mattress is not a conventional "western" mattress that is thick and foamy. It was more like the thickness of a duvet. I didn't mind it, as it was still cosy and comfortable though it might not be to everyone's taste.
Also grateful for the portable wifi! Absolute life saver and must have in Japan! Thanks Will for being so thoughtful!
Finally, it was great that Will set out clear recycling instructions so that we could spend half an hour on our last night sorting the trash. We might have been quite lost as to local customs and expectations otherwise.
Location was convenient, price was reasonable, and Will was adequately responsive as a host. Didn't get to chat with Will other than us asking for an early check in as my parents were unwell and when we a little unsure about the hot water running out one of the evenings - so can't comment further other than he's done a good and efficient job running the place as a rental apartment!
Thanks for making our Tokyo stay such a pleasant and trouble free one.
This well located apartment (ideal location to be able to walk to Tsukiji Market and Kabuki-za Theatre) is kept clean and ship shape. It has all the basics a traveller needs. Nice little balcony. Will will send detailed instructions about getting there, housekeeping matters etc.

Nice to meet you. My name is Will. I love hosting on airbnb and it is my life. It is tons of fun and there are new surprises every day! I have met so many interesting people as a host and I look forward to those I will meet in the future.
I am a sports fan, reader, movie goer, and I like to try new things. I play golf, basketball, and just about any sport you can think of. I love ramen, yakiniku, yakitori, and shabu shabu here in Japan. I love to try pizza all over the world when I travel.
Relationships are the most important thing for me in my personal life as well as business. I like to go out and have a good time with my friends and meet new people.
I have learned so much from my over three years as an airbnb host and I am pleased to say I have most questions answered for you before you ask them, whether it be in the description of the listing or in the detail I supply you with at confirmation. Still, I am always thinking of ways to make the guest experience more comfortable, efficient, and hassle free. This is my goal as a host. I will continue to get more places every month so I can host more travelers. I want everyone to see Tokyo at least once!
Tokyo is a great place to come and people from all over the world visit here making it a truly international city. I love Tokyo and seeing the amazing sights and people. It is a great place to explore and every day can be different. This is an awesome destination for walkers and wanders filled with friendly people, tasty restaurants, and plenty of lights. My tip is to make the initial contact with Japanese people because they are typically shy at first. They will be happy to try to practice their English with you.
Hope I can host you soon! May your trip to Tokyo be as amazing as my 7 years here has been!
