You'll have this entire condo all to yourself, in this modern new high rise. This spacious, fully equipped private one bedroom has phenomenal high floor views of the city, water and mountains. Right in the heart of Gastown, you'll find shopping, entertainment, restaurants, sights, transit, theatre, yoga and the buzz of Vancouver's coolest and most historic neighborhood at your feet.
Located an 8 minute walk from the Skytrain and a 12 minute walk to the Vancouver Convention Centre, the building is a new highrise (built in 2010) with modern, executive style finishings. You'll have full access to the gym and hot tub. There is a coffee shop, restaurant/bar, drugstore and grocery store and bank in the ground floor of the building.
The furnishings are west coast style, with a real queen bed, feather duvet, large flat screen TV and DVD player, large comfy leather sectional, desk/workspace, full bathroom with tub and shower, washer and dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, gas stove/oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. You'll also have one parking spot if needed.
Of course, all of the linens, towels, dishes, etc are all here for your use during your stay.
Please note that you'll get only one key and fob to the apartment unless requested otherwise. If you choose to stay at my condo, your check-in procedure will be through a secure e-check-in, so worries about late/early check-in/check-out!
Drop me a line and let me know when you'd like to stay in beautiful Vancouver!
108 W Cordova apt 2803
Please note that check in is after 3 pm and check out is before 11 am unless requested otherwise.
Directions from the airport:
When you arrive at YVR (Vancouver international) you can take a cab for $32-$38 to the apartment and it takes 35-40 min. Or, for the train, it is $8-9 per rider and the machines take credit cards (also 35-40 min). Follow the signs for the Skytrain Canada line (there's only one train line that services the airport and it only goes one direction, so if you see a train it's the right one!) Take it to Waterfront Station and get off. From there, go out to the street (it's West Cordova st), and turn left. just walk 2-3 blocks and you'll see 108 on your right.
To get in, please buzz me on the intercom at #2156. That will call my cell phone and I'll buzz you in remotely. Go up the elevator and the apartment door will be open for you. You'll find your key and fob inside. For access during the rest of your stay, use the fob to get electronic access at the lobby door. (Just wave the fob in front of the black box). The key is for the apartment door.
The fob will get you access to the gym/hot tub in the adjacent building (128 W Cordova) on the 42nd floor (amazing views!!). Just use the fob and walk past the concierge desk (please don't talk to them, they dislike Air bnb guests, and will try to fine me for renting out short term... if for some reason they talk to you, just say you're a friend staying with me) to the change rooms/pool at the back or the gym upstairs.
The fob will also get you to the garbage/recycling room on level P1. Please let me know if you intend to use the parking and I'll give further directions.

Make yourself at home!
As for recommended places... here are my favorites:
-La Casita, the little mexican place right across the street on the other side of Cordova.
-Cafe Medina (Coffee, waffles, breakfast, lavendar lattes) 556 Beatty St (5 min walk)
-Cafe Milano in Gastown (coffee, people watching) at 36 Powell St. 10 min walk from the apartment.
-Bel Cafe 801 West Georgis st (French bakery/ Cafe no WiFi.)10 min walk
-Cactus Club Restaurant (beautiful people and trendy food) Dunsmuir St and Burrard St 20 min walk, or 45 min walk to the English Bay location 1790 Beach Ave. Leave extra time to chill in the lounge while you wait for a table. Always busy.
-There's decent pizza, great sushi, a salad/smoothie bar, liquor store, grocery store, movie theatre and drug store all a 5 min walk away... Walk south on Abbot st for 3 blocks and it will take you right to it.
-There is a TD bank, a coffee shop, a drugstore (London Drugs) and a Nesters Grocery store in the ground floor of the apartment building as well as a convenience store on the corner that stays open pretty late.
- For shopping it depends what you like... Robson Street is all the big name stores (mainstream mall type stores), Gastown is hipster chic, John Fluevog and antiques (Water street), Yaletown is preppy expensive chic indie boutiques (Mainland st and surrounding few blocks). South main st is Independent local designers (spread out from Main and 4th to Main and 30th). South Granville is Pottery Barn type stores (between 6th and 17th) and Granville island is amazing for local artisans, crafts and farmers market type stuff. Kitsilano is home to West 4th Street, which is expensive, chic, semi-brand name yuppie style clothes, shoes, yoga wear.
When you check out, please turn off all lights and heating and just leave the keys on the bed and leave the door unlocked. The cleaning service will come in after your stay, but it's much appreciated if you could put any sheets or towels in the washer and start the cycle. This helps me to not have to charge a cleaning fee :)
Please let me know if you have any questions, and let me know your check in/check out times if possible.

We liked the place but compared to other airbnb's we have stayed at it was missing that home feeling and there was also the absence of a few basic supplies like toilet paper. Overall it is a good apartment in a great location with many restaurants and a market all close by. We did not actually meet Jennifer however the checkin was seamless.
It was really comfortable to stay at the place. There are lots of places to have fun, too. Thank you, Jennifer.
This place is perfect, Jennifer is a great host and we had an amazing first visit to Vancouver. The apartment is located close to everything you want to do in downtown Vancouver and you can see practically everything else from the view! The market downstairs has everything you need for night in, we cooked a great meal one night. There are many restaurants and bars within a block or two. Our favorites were the coffee shops, don't miss revolver or Nelson The Seagull.
When we got in, Jennifer gave us great directions and answered my questions quickly, settling in was a breeze. Highly recommend this place!
This apartment is in a fabulous location with everything you need! I would recommend it and Jennifer is very professional to deal with.
This place had everything I needed and the views really are that good. Although I never met Jennifer she was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The instructions to find the place and the parking are very accurate and staying in gastown is where you want to be in Vancouver. Recommended!
Great location, close to a lot of great stuff. The place was very clean, but a bit of wear and tear.
The view is really amazing and the apartment well located. You can easily walk everywhere. Just make sure that if you want to use the parking spot the number of the parking spot is a 4-digit number, otherwise you won't find it!
The appartment had truely amazing views of the city and is in a very convenient location to visit Vancouver. Jennifer gave us very nice tips about cafes and restaurant in the area. We had really a great time! I definitely recommend it!
Excellent location, upscale building. Roomy and comfortable apartment. Thanks.
The apartment most definitely lived up to the headline. Jennifer's apartment was in the perfect location, walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. Quiet street though in a historic Vancouver building. The view was indeed phenomenal, and the apartment comfortable. Great city and great stay. Thanks Jennifer!
