Cheap funky studio - central Warsaw

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Rozbrat, Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland

Yup, that's probably the tiniest one on Airbnb. 13 sqm/140 sq ft. Challange accepted! Yet it has ALL the facilities (bathroom, internet, TV, dishwasher, cooktop, balcony). And it's in the HIPPEST district of the great capital city of Poland. POWISLE.

POWISLE.

The Space

Kitchen is in the (living/bed)room: electric cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator. It's fully equipped so you'll be able to prepare a proper meal. There's also some tea, coffee, sugar, salt etc.

In the room you also have 32" LCD with lots of channels. There's also hifi and speakers, so you can plug your phone/mp3 player.

You have Wi-Fi (10 Mbps). I can provide you with notebook if you need one. You have a washing machine too.

When you're done with sightseeing, eating, drinking, washing and watching, you sleep on a convertible sofa. There's an extra mattress to put on top of sofa so it's pretty comfortable.

Shower is in a tiny bathroom with (regular sized ;) toilet. All within the borders of the apartment, of course.

SHEETS, TOWELS - fresh, ironed and clean waiting for you. Hair dryer, iron + ironing board as well. There's a lot of useful stuff here, belive me.

Guest Access

You'll get your key and you're free to do whatever you want. Excluding destroying stuff and loud parties :)

Interaction with Guests

FLEXIBLE CHECK IN/OUT hours (that means 24/7).

With longer stays (> 4 days) and on weekends (Sat, Sun) you get FREE Chopin AIRPORT/TRAIN (or BUS) STATION STATION PICK UP/DROP OFF - you'll be here in couple of minutes after arrival.

We (me and bro) are available online and via mobiles 24/7 . There's preloaded FREE LOCAL SIM Card with Android smartphone with some usefull apps (that's a rental). So that we could stay in touch.

Don't be shy to AMA!

The Neighborhood

It's in the HIPPEST district of the great capital city of Poland. POWISLE. And the VERY CENTRAL one: it's 10 mnts bus ride from the Central Railway Station, 20 mnts walk to Krakowskie Przedmiescie street or up the hill to Three Crosses Square.

Lazienki Park (Royal Bath), National Museum, Centre for Contemporary Art - all reachable by a nice walk.

In the summer you have all the open air Powisle CLUBS for the asking. All year round you can breath the fresh air of the PARK you see from your BALCONY, just in front of you. Powisle is the very heart of the city!

The tenement is HISTORICAL, city and community take good care of this pre-war BEAUTY in white. The area is elegant, so is the building. You stay on the TOPFLOOR (=5th, there's an elegant elevator, also tiny).

Getting around

With my FREE Chopin AIRPORT/TRAIN STATION PICK UP/DROP OFF (weekends and longer stays) you'll get here in couple of minutes after arrival.

As for public transportation: you'll get to/from Frederic Chopin Airport with one bus (30 mnts).
There's also a bus (operating every 10 mnts) that'll get you in 5 mnts to the city center (3 stops), close to Warszawa Centralna train station. Our stop is just by the studio. And there's a night bus as well.

There's also bike rental station nearby (look online for Veturilo).

You won't get lost. We have maps and cool local guide leaflets for you.

  • I really enjoyed staying at Lukasz' place. The neighborhood is lovely and really well connected to all the main attractions in Warsaw. Thanks for having us!

  • The apartment was indeed small/a bit tight, but all of the essentials were included. In a quiet neighborhood, but very close to the city for seeing the sights. Lech and Lukasz do their best to make sure you have all you need... Maps, cabs, directions, etc. Excellent hosts and an excellent stay while in Warsaw.

  • Lukasz and his brother are very kind and friendly. They helped my boyfriend and me with our luggage and Lukasz invited us to a party and to the cinema. It was great! The apartment was very confortable, clean and situated in a very good place to look around in Warsaw. It was perfect!

  • Lukasz was very helpful and "disponible" for us. There is everything in the apartment and our stay was just perfect. Thanks a lot!

  • Lukasz and Lech run an excellent apartment in the heart of one of Warsaw's hippest (and greenest!) neighborhoods. Their building is full of history and character, looks over a gorgeous park, and is within easy walking distance to all of Warsaw's main sites of interest. This is my favorite kind of AirBNB host, as the brothers keep the apartment tidy and have their guests' experience in mind -- even putting together an awesome guidebook to the neighborhood.

The apartment is exactly as advertised and is perfect for a short or medium stay, particularly for a solo traveller. It would also work well for a couple (the bed is plenty large for two), but perhaps better for shorter stays, if personal space is of concern. The entire experience was very comfortable and the amenities are superb. Bravo.

Even the comment was perfect, thanks. And drop by again.

  • Lukasz was extremely helpful during our whole stay. Building and the area is of premium quality. Place itself in a matter of appliances lacks absolutely nothing, not a single thing - hard to imagine, but you'll find it out yourself if you decide to spend your time there.

  • The area the apartment is located is perfect, and having a balcony overlooking the park is a nice touch. Comfy sofa bed and lots of information for us to really get to know the city. All in all we love warsaw! Thanks Lukasz.

  • The appartment was a relly cool place to stay in Warsaw. We have been to the City before, but its definitely one of the nicest neighbourhoods with all the parks around it and still very close (walking distance) to City (Nowy Swiat).
Although its a tiny place its a perfect for a couple to stay for a few nights, equipped with all you need (tea, coffee, fridge, ...) and everything was clean.
Coolest thing: Lukasz and his brother provide this little tour guide made by themselves, where they tell you about their favourite places in the area. You can really tell that they are into it and good hosts.
    We had a great time!!!

  • We had a great experience in Warsaw and it was related to the fact that the studio had everything we needed (including a welcome drink). Lukazs and Lech were great to communicate and they provided us everything we needed promptly. Lukazs even picked us up at 6 am at the station when we arrived. The place is near to the main tourist places and has a beautiful view. 100% recommended!

  • Lukasz Figielski hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen. Seine Wohnung ist klein aber fein und der Blick auf den Park ist wunderbar. Ausserdem ist es gut situiert. Also eine praktische und angenehme Unterkunft!
