Rejane's room has the most comfortable mattress in the world!!! Her suggestions were really helpful and professional which helped us had a fully experience around this amazing place. By the way, there are super pretty and delicate decorations around every corner in Rejane's place!!
Rejane was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and looks like the photos. The only problem is that if you want to take a taxi to key west, you should call the taxi company in advance and arrange a pick up time. We waited for 45minutes to take a 10 minute cab ride into town. That has nothing to do with Rejane's lovely hospitality of course...it's just a tip for future travelers who want to leave their car at her place. Thank you, Rejane!
Thanks Steph for your nice comments and your input on taxi transportation to go downtown, I have to say you were not lucky because usually, taxis arrived within 10-15mn. I am sorry you had to wait 45mn hope you still had a great time and had a lovely evening on our beautiful little island.
Rejane's place was great! Very homely and the perfect size for 2 to stay. Rejane gave us some excellent suggestions on how we could go about exploring Key West.
Things were exactly as (website hidden)-jan was super friendly and helpful. We rented bikes from her and rode all over Key West. Do yourself a favor and ask her about her home made raspberry coconut jam!
First Airbnb experience.
The host was very nice to us. The room looks exactly like the photos and were clean and cozy. Parking was also super easy. We rented bikes from Rejane to explore the Island and it was amazing. I recommend staying here.
When we arrived, Rejane greeted us promptly and warmly. She showed us to our room, which was exactly as pictured. It was comfortable and met our needs completely. The bathroom was clean and the shower especially refreshing after our day out and about in the keys. The neighborhood was quiet and parking was not an issue. Also, Rejane recommended a restaurant in Key West that we visited. It was a great choice!
Amazing room in a great location. Would love to stay there again..
About the Host, Rejane
I am originally from France, born and raised in Brittany. I've been living in Key West for 26 years. Had my own business for 7 years with a convenient store and coffee shop.
Worked at the airport in Key West for two big Airlines during 10 years.
I love traveling and meeting new people with different culture and different languages, try new food.
I traveled in several continents. My favorite were Kenya in Africa, and China (the west Tibetan part) loved it :-) went 3 times. I also enjoyed Argentina and Bolivia and Cuba was kind of going back on time.
But road trips in the US is also something I enjoyed tremendously there are so much to see, I drove from Key West FL to Alaska in 1991 and summer 2012 one of my best trip.
I do pictures book of my trips which became a passion to fix all the good memories.
I love cooking, salsa dancing, and biking around my beautiful island.
