  • Luca was very helpful in general. Prior to arriving I didn't have a lot of questions, but those I did, Luca answered quickly and completely to the best of his knowledge. Including: putting us in touch with a taxi service for getting from the airport to the flat. We had a long wait getting through customs, and it took us an hour longer than expected, but Luca patiently waited for us to arrive so we could get the keys. He's got a binder that provides information on local places to eat and a spa... word of advice, check the restaurants out on trip advisor, the fact that they are in in binder is not Luca endorsing them, simply that they are close in our experience. The flat itself, if you are American, and not from New York city, may seem small. We loved it. The a/c worked, the beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It's location was wonderful for us. If you want a very quiet place, this is NOT it. If you close the windows and have the a/c on, we did not find the street noise at all a problem. What we enjoyed about the neighborhood was it's life... first night we came back to the flat and a Soprano was giving a concert a couple of doors down, I sat in the windowsill with the window open and enjoyed the concert. The next night, we had the best seats to the Rolling Stones concert, again right there at the flat. All depends on your taste... again, with the windows closed, we couldn't make out the performances going on.

  • Luca has always served me when I request something. Although the apartment is far from the center, nothing hurt. Bus lines served me. Also, right next to the exciting area of Trastevere.

  • Luca was very responsive and patient with our family. The apartment had a very spacious bedroom and bathroom with a smaller kitchen area with two pull out beds. It was a little small for our family of four, but I think this place would be great for a couple. It was also impressively clean.

Upon our arrival, Luca helped carry our bags upstairs and had many helpful maps, list of restaurants by neighborhood, and guide books to help us plan our visit. The apartment is also within walking distance of popular Roman tourist destinations like The Colosseum and Roman Forum.

  • The apartment was nice - neat and clean. Relatively close to the Circus Maximus metro stop and very convenient to a bus stop. Perfect for the three of us - myself, husband and 12-year-old son.

  • This (email hidden), for those visiting Rome as tourists. The location could not be better. We did not use public transport for three of the four days of our stay in Rome! For our family of four, the studio apartment was adequate, with some juggling of the spare cots. All information needed to plan visits to the monuments was available. The WiFi connection was excellent. We had to request Luca for a toaster, which he made available on the same day. Hope to go back to Rome for seeing the remaining sites and stay again in this apartment.

  • Perfect location, ideal for sightseeing. We walked to all the tourist places from the Colosseum to the Vatican.
The flat is simple but nice, can be noisy at night so bring your earplugs :)
The neighbourhood is lovely: fresh organic market at the weekend, bakery at the end of the street, nice restaurant nearby...
Luca was very helpful so we felt comfortable in his flat.
    I recommend this place.

  • We loves this cosy apartment right near Forum Romano! The location is perfect and you don't have to use public transport to go anywhere, even Vatican is a walkable distance. Luca was at the apartment to give us the keys and share some tips for nearby lunch. The apartment is basic but offers everything you need and I would def recommend it. We ate out so haven't really used the kitchen but everything was very clean and tidy. We loved our time in Rome so much and would highly recommend Luca's place if you want a central affordable base to explore this magnificent city

  • Very nice appartement on a great location, forum romanum, Palatine hill and Capitoline hill across the street. This is really an perfect location to start exploring Rome. The appartement itself is clean, has a nice bathroom and WiFi TV and kitchen. We, 2 adults and 2 children liked it very much, although the street can be a bit noisy, but ok who is complaining about that given the fact that you are in the middle of fantastic Rome!

  • Very nice flat, in a very central and nice area in Rome, just in front of Palatino.
Around, the shops are very good, the restaurants are very good also.
You can be almost anywhere in central Rome in less than 20 minutes by foot.

    The host is very friendly.

The street is not crowdy, but there is quite often cars going through, and therefore some bearable noise.

    You won't regret your choice.

  • Très bon accueil de Luca. Sérieux, attentif et discret.
Bel appartement, bien équipé, propreté impeccable, idéalement situé, un peu bruyant car la rue est pavée !
    Nous le recommandons sans hésiter.
