Bethnal Green/Shoreditch/Brick Lane

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Wilmot Street, Greater London, E2 0BT, United Kingdom

The Space

Welcome to my home :)

I am currently renting out my beautiful, eclectic top floor flat for short term holiday lets..... It is situated in a highly desirable period block, overlooking Weavers Field park, with stunning views of the City - I guarantee that you'll feel at home here straight away and feel like a real Londoner, not like a tourist!

The photos of the property are all recently taken (although not recently enough to show off the new wood floors!) so you can get an idea of the place - lovely snug living room and comfortable bedroom.....there is free wifi, fresh linen, plenty of hot water, washing machine, and a fully functioning kitchen which you are welcome to use :)

The apartment is very much my home and as such you'll get a warm welcome and enjoy all the comforts and mod cons that you would in your own place. I'm a true Londoner and am happy to share my love of the city with you by recommending many the cool places to visit as all the great places to hunt out in the new cultural and fashion heart of town - the East End!

The apartment consists of one double bedroom (with period furniture and a ridiculously comfortable bed!), living room, bathroom (shower and bath) and ample kitchen, modern furnishings with wooden floors throughout.

There is a double sofa bed available in living room so the flat can accomodate 2 adults comfortably or up to 4 (but snuggly!).

Shops, ATM, restaurants, pubs all within a 5 minute walk - and so you can enjoy exploring as much as I do, I'll leave you maps and a list of recommended local sites, eateries and drinking dens in the flat :)

Fully furnished including towels
Broadband Wifi
Oven and hob
Shower and Bath

Access to off street car parking on request

Guest Access

5th floor flat, no lift in building but the views are absolutely spectacular!

I try to welcome all my guests in person, but if this isn't possible, I have a keysafe which allows more flexibility for guests as they can let themselves in straightaway when they arrive and make themselves at home :)

Interaction with Guests

This apartment is my home, rather than a serviced apartment so it has a relaxed look and feel. Do let me know if you have any questions about the apartment, or about London in general - happy to help out in any way I can!

The Neighborhood

The apartment is located in the heart of Londons artisan and fashion hub and as such is home to a great mix of boutique shops and galleries, waiting to be discovered and trendy Shoreditch with its bars and vibrant clubs a 15 minute walk....

I love to wander through the local markets and historic Spitalfields market, Columbia Road flower market, Broadway market (a 'mini Borough market') and Petticoat Lane markets are all within 15 mins walk, as well as Spitalfields and Hackney City Farm for the children.

In your spare time enjoy historic East London, haunt of villains like Jack the Ripper and the Krays brothers, as well as the Tower of London and Brick Lane, (10 mins walk). A short tube ride takes you to sights and shopping in Central London, whilst discovering the hidden wonders of Hackney Wick is easy by bus or Boris bike!

Getting around

My apartment is peacefully located just two minutes walk from Bethnal Green tube on the Central line, 1 min walk from Bethnal Green Mainline train station and 8 mins from to Whitechapel tube station (Overland, Hammersmith and City Line and District Lines) and easy access on tube and bus to Central London and only one stop from the huge Westfield shopping centre at Stratford. Main shops, shops, ATM, restaurants, pubs all within a 2 minute walk.

Check in time is usually flexible, so please ask if you need a different time and I'll do my best to help!

Also extremely close to the City and therefore would suit business travellers.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had an excellent time in Nikki's Bethnal Green flat. We found the flat to be very safe and quiet. The area is excellent with everything you could want within a two minute walk: banks, supermarkets, Boots, cafes etc.

The cosy flat was ideal for us and our two children as it is opposite a park and two minutes from the V&A Museum of childhood.

Nikki was super; we had a minor problem which she sorted out swiftly and without any fuss. Her directions and communications about accessing the flat made everything go smoothly. I would highly recommend.

  • Great little apartment in a great neighbourhood, perfect for two. Nikki was a fantastic host. Would highly recommend it to any weekend travelers.

  • I cannot recommend Nikki's flat highly enough! It was perfect for me - clean, tidy and cosy with everything you need. Super-comfortable bed, lovely hot and powerful shower, really quiet and peaceful with an amazing view. The flat is beautifully decorated too. Nikki was the perfect host - very quick and pleasant replying to messages, incredibly helpful, flexible and thoughtful eg with info and little touches in the flat (plenty of towels, plus there was tea and coffee etc). The location is brilliant, just two minutes from Bethnal Green tube station but on a quiet street.

All-in-all, an absolute winner! I hope to be back and I would not hesitate in recommending.

  • Loved to stay at Nikkis a long weekend on March! Location, neighborhood, home, couldn't have asked more. Weather treated us better than well also. <3

  • Lovely little flat London with off street parking included! Nice views and a quiet place to stay
Everything was easy to sort out and Nikki was very helpful; answering any questions we had quickly.
We would stay here again :0)

  • Great cosy apartment with lovely view of the London skyline. Five minute walk from Bethnal Green Tube station and 15 minute walk to Shoreditch High Street and Brick lane. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Nikki.

  • Very nice stay at Nikki's home!
I shall never forget this incredible view (OMG!!!) and this very pleasant district.
Thank you for having been so available and accommodating, Nikki :-)

  • Our stay at Nikki's was very good. The flat is perfectly situated for a weekend in the eastern parts of London, with walking distance to most points of interest. We were two friends and could use the bed and sofabed for private sleeping, but the flat could easily have accomodated another two of us, although it would have been a bit more crowded.

Nikki was very helpful and tentive to our questions and needs, a very good landlady! Would gladly recommend it to anyone.

  • Nikki made my stay perfect and enjoyable right from the start. Her style of communication is very welcoming : ) She gave me detailed answers to my questions and a lot of tips. Her apartment is a really cosy place to stay, has an unbeatable skyline view and is located in a very interesting area. I would be pleased to stay again at her place.

  • We had a great stay at Nikki's flat in Bethnal Green. It was very convenient to the tube, (central line-super convenient) and was quick getting there from central London. (10 minutes) The flat was very nice and clean with a wonderful view. The bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet at night, although lively during the day with markets, pubs, and restaurants. There is no lift, but we didn't mind as it was nice to be on the top floor. The hot water heater was tricky - shower was lukewarm at best, but we didn't mind because everything else was outstanding. Nikki was wonderful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again next time in London. Thanks very much, Nikki! You helped make our first trip to London very smooth and enjoyable.

    Response from Nikki:

As my building is a historic building, the hot water is not automatic and needs to be turned on; I leave instructions on how to do this in my apartment as well as post-it notes highlighting how to do it :) If the water is turned on, it is always piping hot!! I'm happy to come and show guests how to do it in person if they like - just give me a call! Xx
