Elisabetta already made me feel welcome before I even landed in the UK. She was there to great me and give me a tour of the place. She took care of me when I was a bit under the weather and for that I am truly grateful! Her place is 5 minutes walk from the river Thames, where you can see Big Ben and the London Eye. Her place is small but warm and welcoming with great wifi! Best place to stay when you're in London. I will definitely stay with her when I return to London.
Elisabetta is a lady with knowledable and healthy life style. you will have a different experiance living here.
My stay at Elisabetta's home was a very pleasant experience. Her home is very well located near the Eye, SoHo and Govent Garden. From her place you can walk endlessly along the Thames and enjoy all different neighbourhoods. The room is small but adequate. Elisabetta is a very friendly and hospitable.
I failed to follow her instructions when I got to the front of the apartment since I just went uber (however her instructions were very specific and on point if you decided to travel by bus or walk from the metro station. So I called Elisabetta, and she came down to bring me to her apartment.
She showed me around and was very on point. She remind me of some of my professors in school (well she is a university teacher in London).
The apartment itself is very basic, a bed, a place to store luggage, and that's about it. Simple and basic but were adequate for my need and purpose.
Location wise, her place is perfect. Less than 3 minutes walk and I already see the Big Ben from afar, and about 10 minutes total to the London Eye. I was only there for a night for my flight out to Dublin the next day. But everything was adequate for my need.
Oh, she does provide an adapter for those from the US that forgot to buy theirs. So I was able to charge my laptop and phone.
Travel tips(she will provide you the details when you book with her also): I took the bus from her house to the metro station, from the metro station to London Heathrow terminal 5 is exactly 1 hour (I timed it) so for those of you that plan to travel by public transport back to the airport, leave yourself 1 hour to get there.
P.S. she made some continental breakfast and asked you if you want tea or coffee the night before. I picked peppermint tea but there are several other teas. :)
I had a wonderful time in London staying with Elizabetta .The room was small but light, pleasant, with fresh linen changed during the (website hidden) was very convenient for walking in to the city or theatre, and close to buses and the tube.Elizabetta was so helpful with advising best routes and things to see, also with wifi, email, and postal services.A simple breakfast was always ready.Elizabetta was a warm, cheerful, considerate host which I found so supportive in my 6th week of travel on my own. This was a very successful choice.
Great location with easy access to the major attractions the host gave me a very warm welcome and provided nice breakfast I will recommend her to everybody and will definitely come back
Elisabetta provided concise, easy to follow location instructions, with useful landmarks. She was most welcoming in providing a full tour of the property, where and how the shared facilities worked, after arranging timing for the first contact. I felt immediately at home while being comfortable in not having to interfere with her private time or space. Continental breakfast laid out each morning added to the sense of unobtrusive hospitality. Perfectly clean and comfortable accommodation, ideally situated for access to Westminster, just off Lambeth Walk, 2 minutes from Thames Bank, 5 minutes from nearest Tube station.
