Working as traveling nurse I stayed at the Goddess Cove Winery and my, did I feel like I was at home. The room was so nice and comfortable and Coleen made sure I had everything I needed. I was treated like I was part of the Goddess Cove family and would certainly plan to stay at the Goddess Cove again. I felt sad when I left, like I was leaving my best friends. The Winery was quite a learning experience for me as I'd never been around anything in the Wine business except, of course, wine. Mr. Graeser was a Wine Artist and my only fault was that I don't drink Wine.
I did have some Rhubarb plants that really loved it there in the back yard under the green, lush foliage. They grew so well, I took two plants and left one for Coleen, DON'T forget to water the Rhubarb Coleen. Call me when you want to know how to make Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Hey, try some of that Rhubarb plant in a couple of your wine recipe's....maybe a barrel or two...I might even taste a little spoon full...well....I think it would be a brand new wine flavor and who knows, a signature flavor.
All the other tenants in the house were kind and friendly and made my stay at the Goddess Cove Winery truly a pivotal point in my life. Thank you Coleen, Mr Graeser and all the others I met while I was there. I already wish I were back in my unique, comfortable room.
If You are looking for something special and different this is Your place! We spend 3 nights at Colleens place and really liked it.Warm and personal hospitality instead of anonymous perfection. We had a great stay at Colleen's wonderful and colourful house. Colleen was very warm en welcoming and shared great stories and best of all, her own wine! We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Greaser and tried his great wine too! The house is very centrally located opposite a tasting room and in walking distance of the beautiful Napa city centre. The Oxbow Farmer's market is also around the corner. All with all a unique experience!
Drove up to Napa for a weekend stay. Colleen was a great host. She was able to provide various recommendations for wineries and insight on the area. Great location. It is walking distance from the downtown restaurants and Oxbow market. Do take some time to have a glass of wine with Colleen and Mr. Graeser. They are very nice people and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend staying here!
Colleen and Richard were a pleasure to meet. They are warm and friendly. After being greeted with a bottle of wine and their delicious home-made beet hummus, they shared many great tips and recommendations. Greatly appreciated. Would recommend to anyone.
Colleen was an excellent hostess!! She had numerous great stories about her adventures and beliefs! She was sure to make us feel extremely comfortable in her home. She offered us fresh fruit from the local farmers market, and gave us her very own delicious tasting of port wine. She also gave us a delicious chocolate infused with three different peppers. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the goddess cove again!
If you don't like same old, same old, this is the place for you. Colleen is a warm and gracious hostess. She welcomed us with open arms and a disarmingly personal touch from the minute I made the reservation. She wanted to know about food preferences for the the included gnosh complemented with her own estate-bottled vintage. The hand-painted exterior says it all. Expect a colorful experience that will expand your mind and open your heart. Thank you Colleen and Mr. Graeser.

About the Host, Colleen
Born on a lettuce farm in the Salinas Valley, I have lived in California all my life. Fifteen years ago I moved to the Napa Valley to remodel and restore a nineteenth century Victorian that I have grown to cherish. I have the privilige of making wine in my very own home alongside one of Napa's highly regarded winemakers. In addition to wine, I enjoy cooking and having my dog walk me :)
