KS & Eli are great hosts. Very responsive to questions and clear communication. Their place is in a great location to stay. It has great access to the subway, that will take you anywhere you want to go in lower Manhattan. Just calculate some time, as it does take a while to reach your destination. About 30ish min to Times Square/ Central Park etc. But closer to an hour if you want to go all the way south (Wall Street, World Trade Center, ferry to Liberty Island etc). The neighborhood is mainly Hispanics, but we did not feel unsafe walking home at night (as white females). It is lively with lots of street vendors selling their goods and lots of local restaurants. If you're not used to the city, it does stay pretty noisy throughout the night with cars honking, music, and yelling. Keep that in mind and bring a set of earplugs. There was only one little discrepancy to the listing. The AC unit is mounted in the living room, so that is the only room you will have it. It did not bother us too much, as the weather was not as hot during our stay, but if you are visiting in the middle of summer, you will not have AC in the bedroom. There is a nice large fan, however, so at least that provides air movement. Overall tho we REALLY ENJOYED our stay and would def recommend you stay here as well. We will be back the next time we visit NYC!

I had a really great time at Ks & Eli's! The apt is very cozy, I had everything I needed and they were attentive and responded all my questions. The neighborhood is great, a bit noisy on weekends but not really a problem. The subway is a block away and it was extremely easy to go anywhere in the city. Perfect for who's exploring New York just like me. I recommend it!

This is a great place to stay near public transport . The 1 train line is just round the corner and will take you to most central places . The A line train is about a five minute walk . The area has a good variety of shops ,takeaways and deli's. It snowed when we were staying the roads were cleared straight away so no holdups . would recorded to friends and family if they were looking for somewhere to stay during a trip. Ks & Eli sent me good instructions for getting into the building and were in contact before we arrived for any questions .

He's been doing lots of work lately, so you never know where you might spot him on TV or in print! We have a baby girl, Rebecca, who is the sweetest girl ever.
Eli is from Israel and I am from Kansas. We have each been in NYC since 2010. We were married in 2012 in Central Park in a perfect ceremony with family and friends at the Cop Cot. We love to travel, dance, go camping, make and see art and have friends over for dinner and we love spending time with family. We love our home and hope you will too!
