We have a family home 1.5 miles north of Bath City Centre. The bus stops right opposite our house and it only takes about 15 minutes by bus or car or 30 minutes on foot to reach the City centre.

Hourly trains will take you to London in 90 minutes. Other easily accessible tourist attractions include Oxford, Stonehenge and the City of Bristol.

Although not far from Bath City Centre, we live in a quiet location on the edge of lovely countryside with great views from the house and garden.Free parking on the road outside our house but please note we live on a steep hill!

Our own bedroom and bathroom are situated on the second floor, and so the first floor of our house is for your use. A spacious double bedroom is available- with tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a digital TV. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable with room to hang clothes. Free super fast Wi Fi is available. Also on this floor there is a bright clean private bathroom, with bath tub and a high-tech power shower .
Downstairs there is an open plan modern L shaped kitchen and dining room overlooking the terrace and garden with great views of surrounding hills.

We provide guests with a breakfast of cereals and toast and fresh fruit. Fruit juice, tea or coffee are also on offer.

If you need to do laundry while you are travelling, this is available for an extra charge of £5 per load.

We have leaflets and maps on offer and we are always happy to answer any of your questions and help in any way we can.

Our bedroom and bathroom on 2nd floor is strictly off limits.

Interaction with Guests

We will welcome you, show you to your bedroom and then leave you in peace. However, we are happy to help with any suggestions on places to visit in Bath.
We like to chat over breakfast, but quite understand if you would rather eat on your own.Just say!

The Neighborhood

We live in a quiet neighbourhood near the top of the hill, with great views over to the famous Solsbury Hill and beyond. It is a 5- minute walk to our local convenience store.
There are beautiful walks nearby, including the Cotswold Way, and the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Bath itself is a World Heritage City with many tourist attractions- The Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa, Royal Crescent, The Circus, The Jane Austen Museum- to name but a few. Bath also has many fabulous restaurants and shops! Although we offer one-night stays, most people have commented that you need longer to appreciate all that Bath has to offer.

Getting Around

There is a bus stop nearly opposite our house with buses which will get you into town in about 15 minutes.
