We have recently decorated this room and laid a new wool carpet. We have also put in a small flat screen TV. It is a spacious but cosy room and because of the rural outlook, it is very quiet at night.

We have a family home 1.5 miles north of Bath City Centre.The bus stops right opposite our house and it only takes about 15 minutes by bus or car or 30 minutes on foot to reach the City centre.
Hourly trains will take you to London in 90 minutes. Other easily accessible tourist attractions include Oxford, Stonehenge and the City of Bristol.
Although not far from Bath City Centre, we live in a quiet location on the edge of lovely countryside with great views from the house and garden.Free parking on the road outside our house but please note we live on a steep hill!
Our own bedroom and bathroom are situated on the second floor, and so the first floor of our house is for your use. A spacious double bedroom is available- with tea and coffee making facilities,hair dryer and a digital TV. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable with room to hang clothes. Free super fast Wi Fi is available. Also on this floor there is a bright clean private bathroom, with bath tub and a high-tech power shower .
Downstairs there is an open plan modern L shaped kitchen and dining room overlooking the terrace and garden with great views of surrounding hills.
We provide guests with a breakfast of cereals and toast and fresh fruit. Fruit juice, tea or coffee are also on offer.
If you need to do laundry while you are travelling, this is available for an extra charge of £5 per load.
We have leaflets and maps on offer and we are always happy to answer any of your questions and help in any way we can.
Guests have access to their bedroom and bathroom.
Our bedroom and bathroom on 2nd floor is strictly off limits.
Breakfast is served in the kitchen. We would prefer guests to eat out for other meals . There are hundreds of great places to eat in Bath.
Guests are welcome to explore the garden.
Interaction with guests
We will welcome you, show you to your bedroom and then leave you in peace. However, we are happy to help with any suggestions on places to visit in Bath.
We like to chat over breakfast, but quite understand if you would rather eat on your own.Just say!
We live in a quiet neighbourhood near the top of the hill, with great views over to the famous Solsbury Hill and beyond. It is a 5- minute walk to our local convenience store.
There are beautiful walks nearby, including the Cotswold Way, and the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Bath itself is a World Heritage City with many tourist attractions- The Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa, Royal Crescent, The Circus, The Jane Austen Museum- to name but a few. Bath also has many fabulous restaurants and shops! Although we offer one-night stays, most people have commented that you need longer to appreciate all that Bath has to offer.
There is a bus stop nearly opposite our house with buses which will get you into town in about 15 minutes.
Please note check in time is after 4pm and checkout is before 10am.We can sometimes be flexible around check-in time, depending on our plans for the day. It would be helpful if you could let us know roughly what time you'll be arriving.

We are a smoke-free household and we do not allow pets.
Please do not shower between 11pm and 7am as the pump is in our bedroom!
I live in Bath with my husband and our dog. Both our sons have left home and are married. We have recently become grandparents for the first time . We enjoy travel, reading, walking Henry in the countryside, cinema and socialising with friends. We genuinely love having people in our home and getting to know our guests a little.
Alan is a keen potter and we have many of his pieces on show around the house.
I enjoy singing in Bath Rock Choir, and I am learning to play acoustic guitar, having studied Classical Guitar some years ago.
