All bed linens, bath towels and kitchen towels are included in your rental.

Guest access
1 Hour from Colorado Springs, 2.5 Hours to Denver; 'Vinemesa Cabin' is located in the small artists' village of Beulah, Colorado, in the foothills below the picturesque Wet Mountains. There are 2 acres to explore with a small seasonal creek. The property feels secluded although there are neighbors just down the road. Local legend claims that this secluded valley became the favored hideout of a horse thief, Juan Mace, attributing the nick-name 'Mace's Hole'. Located 25 miles southwest of Pueblo, this area is at an elevation of 6,800 feet and on the outskirts of the San Isabel National Forest, an ideal place for picnicking, fishing and hiking. The area is also home to Lake San Isabel, which is open year round and is stocked by the Colorado State Department of Wildlife.

Other things to note
We accept pets with a few of 50$ and prior approval. We strongly suggest you stop in Pueblo for groceries as there is little or no produce available in Beulah. We also recommend a vehicle with four wheel drive as weather can be unpredictable .

Beulah Valley, Colorado, United States

Beulah is conveniently located about an hour from the Colorado Springs Airport and just 20 minutes from Pueblo (groceries etc.). A beautiful drive 'over the mountains' takes you to the Royal Gorge and Canon City, Westcliffe, & LaVeta for a trip on the Royal Gorge train, white-water river rafting, kayaking, canoeing. A trip up nearby Greenhorn Mountain, at 12,500 ft., offers a splendid view of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Or tour Bishop's Castle. This huge stone and iron castle, complete with a smoking dragon, is an intriguing side trip to the small town of nearby Rye.Beulah 'town' offers a general store with gas station, an antique shop, a post office and 2 restaurants. Our cabin is within walking distance to the heart of the village, yet situated on a secluded ponderosa pine mountain side with a small stream. Glorious mountain views, black bears, families of deer and various birdlife can be seen from the numerous windows and dining deck. Head out the front door for hiking up the canyon, flag mountain or a short cut to the San Isabelle National Forest.

I am a photographer and management consultant for the hospitality industry. My companion and I live in St. Barthélémy and rent our small vacation homes when they are not in use by our family and friends. We have been renting our homes in Amboise, France and Beulah, Colorado since 2012 and have added a tiny guesthouse in St. Barth December 2017. We enjoy sharing our favorite places with others.
